Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) any tyoe of soil each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete.

Cement concrete type B-2, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate type C1) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

PCC in foundation filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8, using 40mm graded aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm stone aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges

Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Brickwork with fly ash’ bricks using with modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cm 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed

Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M & L for applying two coats of cement based paint on newly plastered surfaces of walls including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour for fabrication of staging of water tank lattice girders, aerial masts, and the like including caps, bases, splices etc. using channel sections or angles with plates, including all lattice bars, stiffeners, gusset plates, etc. with Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250), including two coats of synthetic enamel painting over a coat of red oxide primer including taking down existing rusted and damaged condition of staging complete all as specified and directed. Note : The unit rate is deemed to be included for providing support to existing water line pipe of any size of pipe provided at roof level

Dismanling and taking out rusted and wornout GI Nipple from the existing medium grade pipe line and supply and fixing in replacement of GI Nipple suitable to GI medium grade pipe line of 40mm bore 150 mm long

Dismanling and taking out rusted and wornout GI Nipple from the existing medium grade pipe line and supply and fixing in replacement of GI Nipple suitable to GI medium grade pipe line of 40mm bore 100 mm long

Note for item No 11 & 12 :- The unit rate is deemed to be included for excavation and earth work if required.

Attending day to day water supply service related complaints like choking of rising main pipes of buildings, blockage in control valves/ float valves/ pipe fittings, etc, applying necessary engineering efforts like dismantle of pipes and fittings to clean and remove blocking objects, descaling of pipes, re-fixing of pipes on wall, etc to restore the proper flow of water to service tanks all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No 14 :- (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of entire domestic and tech area of Air Force Stn Sulur.

(b) The service tanks are positioned on roof top of multi storied buildings upto four storey. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc.

(c) The cost of rethreading of GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard.

(e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(f) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(g) If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(j) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Rectification of leakage of GI pipe diameter 80 to 100mm in trench after carry out excavation upto volume of 2 cum, replacement of unserviceable pipe fittings like collar, bend, Tee, Reducer, etc, including threading of existing pipe, applying all necessary engineer effort to check the water leakage, carryout necessary earth works to closs the trench and remove surplus soil upto 50 mtr distance all as directed

Gun Metal gate or globe valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipes and of 40mm dia bore including fixing accessories and taking down unserviceable Gun Metal gate valve from existing places complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of valve pit chamber for sluice/gate valve of 50/80/100/150/200/ size by removing mud/ grass/ sludge/ other waste materials from the chamber and from surroundings upto 1mtr distance, carryout petty cement repairs with cement mortar 1:4, apply one coat of white wash on cemented surfaces and one coate of synthetic paint on steel surfaces complete to make an operator friendly valve chamber complete as specified and directed. Note :- Periodicity and locations of valve chambers will be given as per requirement by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 500 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylinderical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 25mm bore for inlet and outlet, 25mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I including taking down of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out rusted and wornout of mild steel sheet from bottom of existing water tanks and material and labour for mild steel with required nuts and bolts and welding completed all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10cm width or grith not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enemel paint over a coat of red oxide of zinc chrome complete all as specified and directed

Removing of acumulated earth of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Note :- The unit rate is deemed to be included :- (a) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Useful material shall be stacked. (b) Cutting the grass/feilling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shalll be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.

PP-R Gate Valves (Brass insert) as per requirement of site with 32 mm outer dia pipe and including taking out unserviceable Gate valves complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation for taking out brocken CI/DI pipe line upto 200/150mm dia, cutting of CI/DI pipe line upto 200mm dia at two portion with the help of electrical driven pipe cutter and levelling the cutting face of pipe with the electric driven grinder and then CI/DI welding by electric welding machine, fixing detacheble joint, tail piece etc then concreteting by PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass condrete, after repair of same pipe line, returning filling of excavated materials including removal of surplus soil complete all as specified.

Cleaning of service tanks of the capacity as mentioned below on roof top of bldgs upto five storrey after disconnection from inlet and outlet pipe, removing of float valve of service tank and keep aside safely for reuse drain out water through drain plug, cleaning thoroughly to remove all scales and dirt by brushing internal surface, cleaning properly inside with soda wash, flushing out with fresh water, re-positioning of tank at same place, re-connecting inlet and outlet pipes, closing of drain plug, re-installation of float valve duly cleaned, writing/ labelling the record of cleaning carried out with white bold letter such as "TANK CLEANED ON"--------- (month and year), including removing creepers, vegitation and roots of plants, trees branches on or surrounding of service tank complete all as directed. Note:-(i) Unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for testing of water supply in tank both inlet and outlet flow during next supply hours early in the morning or late in evening. (ii) Contractor shall maintain a pucca bound register for cleaning carried out with date and obtain users signature and remarks if any and this register to be submitted alongwith RAR. (iii) Contractor is liable to rectify any damages to the external finishes of the bldg occured during the cleaning process, i.e. scrubbing and touch up with external paints as existing specifications. Unit rate quoted is deemed too be included the cost of the same. (iv) All sort of petty T&P items such as ladder, safety equipment, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to dept.

This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (ii) Excavation and earth work required will be measured and paid seperately. (iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate.
