Manning , Operation and routine maintenance of 66/11 KV Grid Sub Stn, 8 MVA and 5 MVA capacity by deploying Sub Station Attendant - 01 No (highly skilled and experienced adequately for working on 11 KV / 66 KV system) and helper-01 No, 08 hour shift, for 3 shifts, round the clock operation including sundays, holidays and reliever duties complete all as specified. The sub station comprises of following equipments and accessories :-

11 KV System and connected accessories:- (a) Sub stationn Transformer 11 KV/430 volts of capacity 100KVA - 01 No (b) HT 11 KV switch gears VCB type with tripping relays and contracts - 10 Nos (c) Ring main unit - 01 No (d) Power capacitor bank - 01 unit (e) HT 11 KV cable from transformer to switch gear and outgoing feeder (f) Sub station LT panel - 01 No (g) 11 KV gang operated switch - 05 Nos (h) Battery bank comprising 110 Nos lead acid batteries 2 volts 100 Ah (j) Miscellaneous sub stn items such as fire fighting eqipment sub stn furniture standing order , charts , drawings etc

Scope of work for operation shall incude:- (a) Routine maint tasks all as specified and directed. (b) Recording and maintaning the reading of all the instruments all as shown on the log sheet book/ directed by Engineer-in-charge. Log Book & other stationery required (c) Monitoring of periodical functioning of the instruments listed in sub station standing order/particular specifications as per laid down periodically (d) Recording daily activities on the log sheet other than reading such as trip record, any breakdown & its duration, preparing permit slip etc. Daily log sheet to be updated and to be produced to Engr-in Charge every 15 days for check.

Scope of work for operation shall incude (Contd/...):- (e) Checking of DC batteries healthiness, checking of gravity of batteries , functioning of batteries bank replacement of worn out fuses filling of distilled water etc weekly and making the test /record sheet (f) Routine upkeeping and maintenance of sub station bldg, internal inventory of sub station complex sweeping , dusting grass cutting etc. (g) The operator shall wear uniform as prescribed by the GE / Engineer-in-Charge mandatory tools insulating plier, screw driver, DE spanner set shall always be in possession with person on duty and tools shall be arranged by the contractor. (h) Regular cleaning and maintenance of area of installation complex including cutting of grass / bushes all around pump house bldg, OH reservoir and surrounded area inside fencing of installation shall be carried out without any extra cost to the department..

Attending day to day complants of Internal electric all types of complaint in internal electric including service connection from the eletric pole all directed by MCM/ JE in charge/ Engineer in charge , the contractor shall deploy Highly skilled electrician - 01 No (highly skilled ) and helper-01 No, 08 hour shift, for 3 shifts, round the clock including sundays, holidays and reliever duties complete all as specified. The sub station comprises of following equipments and accessories :- (a) The persons should repoart to JE in charge at power house and collect the complaints slips and attend the daily complaints of internal electric as directed. NOTE FOR SERIAL ITEM NOs 1 to 6 : (a) Sub Station Attendant/Electrician: Sub Station Attendant/ Electrician shall be having at 10+2 with ITI qualified in electrician trade and minimum 3 years relevant field experience in 66 KV system (b) Certificate of technical experience and education qualification of the person shall be produced by the contractor to department for verification before assinging the job. (c)Cost of stationery / Register/Transportation/T&P required for maintaining of records shall be deemed included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (d) The contractor should produce concerned documents as mentioned in the PS with reference to payment and insurance as well as qualification of the workers/ staff deputed by him timely to Engineer in charge / GE.
