CWE/CHM(U)-95/2024-25 SPECIAL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING HT XLPE CABLE FROM MAIN TOP TO SUB STATION NO 12 UNDER GE(U) CHANDIMANDIR AT CHANDIMANDIR MIL STN

Disconnecting and taking out existing defective HT cable of any size complete including joints/ protection pipes etc from trenches/ ducts/ poles etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down old broken cable route indicator of any size/ type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide and not exceeding 1.50 metre in depth; for laying of cable, erection of poles etc. and getting out including removing cable protection PCC covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each complete all as specified.

Removing excavated spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type-1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Sand cushioning to UG cable 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm above the cable as specified in SSR Part-I to under ground cable including punning down of sand in layer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:(i) Consolidated/ Punned sand thickness shall be considered for purpose of payment.

M&L tubes 100 mm bore light grade galvanized fixed for cable protection on poles/walls/under road/culvert etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in trenches, ducts or fixing along the poles or passing through pipes or laid under floors etc and testing XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, heavy duty HT power cables ISI marked with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade cross sectional area 240 sqmm 3 core, 11 KV earthed, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Straight through joints as per requirement shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this Item.

M&L for boring/ drilling hole across the road surface at a depth as directed suitable for laying of 100 mm dia GI pipe using a suitable drilling machine complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- All T&P for drilling/boring shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost. Quoted rate against the item shall deemed to include the same.

S&F HT heat shrinkable type Indoor end termination cable jointing kit suitable for 11 KV (Earthed) grade XLPE cable of size 240 Sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for route indicator for HT cable disc type of size 150 mm dia CI, 8 mm thickness embossed with "MES HT CABLE" and fixed on angle iron 35 x 35 x 5 mm, 600 mm long as directed and painted in anti corrosive brown color paint incl PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 foundation block of size 300 x 300 x 300 mm, duly fixed in ground complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
