REPAIR MAINT OF SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS, CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS, SWIMMING POOL, STARTER PANELS AND ALLIED WORKS AT MIL STN GAYA

M & L for lifting of unserviceable submersible motor & pump set of capacity 125 HP, three phase from bore hole of tubewell located at Khiriama Pump Hosue by disconnecting column pipes one by one with the help of chain pulley block after all disconnecting electrical and water connections from pump set and transporting the same to authorised workshop after de-coupling motor & pump for carrying out repair and bringing back the same to site, lowering of coupled motor pump set in borewell by making submersible cable joint water proof, flange joints with new nuts, bolts & washers, leather gasket/packing with proper alignment, binding of cable with column pipe with nylon rope and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Repair/replacement works to be carried on motor and pumps are mentioned here-in-after. Note: (i) Cost of taking up & lowering of column pipes, transportation of pumps & motor to workshop & back shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (ii) All the items/parts mentioned in item Srl No. 1(a) to 1(n) here-in-after shall be suitable/compatible for the existing type and make of pumping set. (iii) Required T & P such as chain pulley block shall be contractor's responsibility. (iv) Repair/ replacement of shall be done within a period as intimated by the Engineer-in-Charge failing which necessary recovery shall be made.

1(a) M & L for cutting and taking out the winding from stator slots of motor & cleaning the slots and rewinding the same by super enamelled copper wire PVC coated of existing size, weight and pattern including all insulation material complete

1(b) M & L for replacement of upper & lower bush bearing of 125 HP pump as existing size made out from gun-metal complete all as specified and directed.

1(c) M & L for replacement of sand gaurd of 125 HP pump as existing size complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully centrifugal motor pump set 20 HP, three phase by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, inlet, delivery pipes and shifting of pump & motor to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump & motor, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at location as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, testing on load, complete all as specified and as directed. Repair/replacement works to be carried on motor and pumps are mentioned here-in-after. Note: (i) Cost of taking down & refixing, transportation of pumps & motor to workshop & back shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (ii) All the items/parts mentioned in item here-in-after shall be suitable/compatible for the existing type and make of pumping set.

2 (a) M & L for pump shaft sleeve made of gun metal suitable for 20 HP motor pump as per manufacturer's design complete.

2 (b) M & L for check nut suitable for 20 HP motor pump as per manufacturer's design complete.

2 (c) M & L for remetaling of shaft, turning, grinding as per the required size and polishing including provision of neck rings of impellers suitable for 20 HP motor pump as per manufacturer's design complete.

2 (d) M & L for pump set bearing housing DE/NDE of CI grade FG 210 suitable for 20 HP motor pump as per manufacturer's design complete.

2 (e) M & L for ball bearing (roller/ thrust/ any other type) DE/NDE suitable for 20 HP motor pump as per manufacturer's design complete. Make: NBC/ TATA/ SKF

2 (f) M & L for strip opening of motor after un-screwing nuts, bolts/ screws etc taking out rotor from stator, cutting and taking out burnt winding carefully from the stator, cleaning of slots, rewinding of stator with super enameled copper winding wire of appropriate size matching with manufacturer's design including replacement of all insulating materials such as glass paper, leathered paper, PVC insulated copper conductor wire connection leads of appropriate size with sleeves of suitable size upto terminal connection box, varnishing, drying up, re-assembling, refxing and re-installation at site complete and testing on load complete all as specified and directed.

2 (g) M&L for repalacement of rubber coupling suitalbe for 20 H.P. as per existing.

2 (h) M&L for Painting of motor and pump set as per existing colour with synthetic enamlled paint after scraping and oiling , greasing of all movable parts.

2 (j) M&L for replacement of impeller of the pump set as per existing material after opening of pump.

M & L for seven stage cleaning and sterilization inside the existing RCC overhead / Semi underground tank of capacity and location mentioned here-in-after through bacteriological treatment by using TERBAC G5/Inchor-5/NB-10/ TERBAC-G-65/ Inoxi-60/NB-69 and ULTRA VIOLET RAY through specilized agency Make: Rays Cleantech / Inus Watertech / Satya Enterprise at any height (as per site requirement), including suitable staging/scaffolding complete all as specified and directed. Seven stages are as under follows:- (a) First stage is to drain out the water by using existing drain out valve or through high capacity dewatering pump. (b) Second stage is cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by scrubing the walls of the tank and cleaning using TERBAC G10/ Inoxi-60/NB-69 (a laboratory tested branded chemical). (c) Third stage is scrubbing the walls and floor with mechanized scrubber & fresh water clening by high speed jet pump (rotary & flat) to remove all scaling, algae and other formed particles on internal surfaces of the tank completely. (d) Fourth stage and first bacteria screening is Sterilization by using TERBAC-G5/ Inohor-5/NB-10 a Laboratory certified branded halogen compound. Test certificate of chemical from government laboratory mentioning suitability for sterilization shall be submitted to the office before using for sterilization . (e) Fifth stage is cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vacuum cleaner and sludge sucker having maximum 1200 W with suitable heavy duty rugged motor to free any foreign and loose particles of any nature.

(f) Sixth stage is the second bacteria screening and sterilizing method by using ultraviolet ray by heavy duty UV radiation which shall have 360 degree of sterilization with in the tank to kill all suspended bacteria (The radiation shall portable and effective for sterilization of drinking water tanks for domination of floating and suspended bacteria). (g) Seventh stage of cleaning and third bacteria screening is to sterilize the floor, Roof and wall of the water tank by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC-G65/Inoxi-60/NB-69 a non toxic bio-degradable eco-friendly anti-bacterial agent certified by a Govt. approved laboratory to disinfect the over head tank from all harmful pathogens. (h) Cleaning of external and internal surfaces, lid wall of the tank, structure for all scales and other particles any algae, hives and any type of vegetation or any other unwanted matters, scrapping of old paint and painting with two coats of cement based water proof apex paint complete all as directed. (j) Painting of angle iron ladder for OHT after scrapping of old paint by emery paper or any other means with two coat of enamelled black paint over a coat of red oxide primer including arrangement of scrap folding/ bamboo structure required for entire work.

Note: (aa) Company will submit government laboratory test certificate of Terbac-G5/Inchor-5/NB-10, Terbac-G65/ Inoxii-60/NB-69, before cleaning, fix the sticker mentioning CA No, date of cleaning & next due date and also provide certificate confirming the completion of sterilization of water tanks mentioning the name of station and date of cleaning. (bb) All the cleaning & sterilization staff shall be with all required safety equipments and shall be under accidental insurance coverage. (cc) Outlet pipe of reservoir shall be plugged before cleaning to avoid entering scales and the same shall be reconnected after cleaning and the quoted rate shall deemed to be included for same. (dd) Sterilization team shall be comprised of at least 30% members who are minimum 03 months certificate holder in water tanks sterilization. (ee) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to do the work inside of the each OH Tank / UG Sump to prevent interruption of water supply to the users

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.00 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6 mm dia as earthing lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to machinery/ equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2010 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering, funnel, wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber, CI Earthing Pit cover 300 x 300 mm with angle iron 20 x 20 mm, 3 mm thick complete all as specified. Note: (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 meter from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from earth.

Supply only MS Class 'C' heavy duty column pipe 150mm bore both ends flanged 3.0 meter Long with flange thickness not less than 25.4 mm for submersible motor upto capacity 125 HP to incorporate against each item Srl No. 01 here-in-above complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only GI pipe heavy grade column pipe 100 mm bore both ends flanged 3.0 meter Long with flange for submersible motor upto capacity 7.5 HP/5 H,P, to incorporate against each item Srl No. 03 here-in-above complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only GI pipe heavy grade column pipe 80 mm bore both ends flanged 3.0 meter Long with flange for submersible motor upto capacity 7.5 HP/5 H,P, to incorporate against each item Srl No. 03 here-in-above complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to water level indicator of OH/UG Reservoir by replacement of brass float ball 30 mm dia 2mm thick mild steel pulley and flexible steel wire rope from brass float ball to measuring key and painting to indicator with 2 coat of synthetic enamel paint and marking number with red/black reflective type colour complete all as specified and directed.

M & L XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 25 sqmm 4 core.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc n exc 10 sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying for brick of common burnt clay, sub class 'B' old size laid flat and dry on cables as in cable protection in trenches over cables perpendicular to direction of cables abutting each other complete all as specified and directed.
