REPAIR TO SEWAGE LINE, MANHOLES, DRAIN, FENCING AND HARDSTANDING AT AIR FORCE STATION MULLANPUR UNDER AGE (I) HIGHGROUND CHANDIGARH

Material and labour for cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 mm /150 MM/ 200 mm bore from solid/ liquid/ mud deposited in these lines manually by rodding with sewage drainage rods through connecting manholes and removing sludge to a distance not exc 500 m from outside periphery of defence land including cleaning sludge/ solid deposited from the ends as well as from intermediate manholes coming between these lines taking off & refixing of manholes, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Rates quoted against the items shall deemed to include for all T&P and safety measures of workers/ safaiwalas (b) The lines measured once can not measured again within 3 months. If blocks in the same lines re-occur within 3 months the contractor will clean again & nothing will be paid extra for this.

Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 to 300 mm bore by excavation and breaking (minimum two length) and removing the blockage, laying new pipes, re-jointing with old pipes including haunching the new pipes with PCC (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate in all locations where cleaning is not possible otherwise complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary excavation, returning filling and disposal of excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning & clearing of solid/liquid mud/any type of solid content including mud,brick bats,empty containers of any type, polythene or any similar items deposited in underground sewage lines 100 to 600 mm bore laid in entire area (domestic as well as tech area) under Air Force Station Mullanpur and any depth upto 8 metres including manholes/inspection chambers of any size and any depth, using SUPER SUCTION MACHINE TRUCK MOUNTED HAVING SUCTION CAPACITY 1000 TO 4000 CUM/HRS, JETTING PUMP WITH WORKING PRESSURE AT LEAST 120 BAR having facilities of high presssure water thermoplastic fibre braided water jetting hose and through conical/round shape nozzler pipe, bottom surface of manholes/inspection chambers & sewage lines should be visible after cleaning process. Sludge /sludge water/any type of waste recovered from sewage lines/manhloes/inspection chambers shall be disposed off at authorised dumping site declared by local administration outside Ministry of defence land complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- (i) Payment shall be made to the contractor as under:- (a) 70% after cleaning/clearing the line. (b) 20% after three months (from the date of cleaning) (c) 10% (after four months from the date cleaning of line) or payment in final bill as applicable. (ii) Lines once cleared will be maintained through out the period of the contract. If there is any blockage during the period of the contract, the same will be cleared without any extra cost by the contractor. (iii) In case of any blockage is observed /found in any cleared line through super suction manchine during the time period of contract and it becomes necessary to clear the sewage line with machine, the same shall be cleared through manchine by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. The line shall be cleared by the contractor within 48 hrs after intimation to the contractor. The rate quoted by the contractor against this item shall be deemed to be inclusive of clearance of lines twice or more time as required during the whole contract period.

Comprehenshive maintenance and cleaning of sewage system including sewage lines, manholes, soakage wells/soak-pits, gully traps, WCs , bath traps etc and attending complaints of bloakages in WCs/ WHBs/Drains etc by employing necessary resources including T&P at Mullanpur AF station complete all as specified and as directed. The location/ building/complex where work is to be carried out consist of the following:- (a) OTM and Md Accn. (b) Airmen, SNCO and Officers Messes (c) Domesatic and technical area

NOTES for Item No 3:- (i) The Contractor will employ a Supervisor alongwith suffaiwalas. The Supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE daily at AF station Mullanpur at 8:30 hrs to give feed back and completion report of all day to day sewage Complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the contract for complete tenure of contract including extension period if any. (ii) It shall be the responsibility of contractor to ensure completion of complaints on daily basis.The quoted rate by the contractor against this item shall deemed to be included the cost of the aforesaid manpower. (iii) Recovery of Rs 500/- per day if safaiwala is found absent. (iv) Contractor shall be solely responsible for ensuring and supplying all the safety and necessary preventive measure required by the safaiwalas during the currency of contract to avoid any health hazard and department shall not be held responsible for any unwanted incidence. (v) All waste material shall be disposed off outside MOD land. (vi) The contractor will ensure the cleaning/clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of Nos) within 24 Hrs of its raising by deploying additional sfaiwalas if required. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. (vii) The rates quoted in the above items includes cost of all the T&P like rods, bamboos, etc & safety measures, contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the T&P and safety measures required by the safaiwalas during currecny of contract. (viii) A recovery of Rs 50/- per complaint per day will be made from contractor for complaints pending for more than 24 hours of its raising.

Dewatering, desilting and Cleaning of septic tank/ manholes from solid/ liquid, mud and removing sludge to a distance not exc 500 m from the outside periphery of defence land complete, including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pump arrangements complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Only solid contents shall be measured for payment. (ii) Rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of T/P required for execution of this item.

Cleaning, desilting of Sewage lift well diameter 5 mtr & depth 6 mtr (approx)from solid/liquid/mud etc and removing sludge out side of defence land complete including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pumping arrangements, labour and machine as required for takingout solid sludge from the well, icluding blocking the adjacent manhole to prevent water flow in to the well, complete all as specified and directed

Cleaning, desilting of Sewage lift well/tank size 2.5 mtr x 1.5 mtr x 3 mtr (approx) from solid/liquid/mud etcafter removing cover slab and fix in position after cleaning, removing sludge out side of defence land complete including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pumping arrangements, labour and machine as required for removing solid sludge from the well, cutting of any vegitations inside etc complete all as specified and directed

Cleaning, desilting of static water tank of size 10 mtr x 10 mtr x 3 mtr (approx) from solid/liquid/mud etc and removing sludge out side of defence land complete including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pumping arrangements, labour and machine as required for removing solid sludge from the tank, complete all as specified and directed

Demolition of brick masonry work (in foul condition) built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, staging etc. and removal of rubbish outside MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork (in foul condition) with using subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), including taking down man hole cover and replacing the same on the same opening after the work is completed complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, brickwork (in foul condition) using retrieved subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:4), including taking down man hole cover and replacing the same on the same opening after the work is completed, except bricks, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old serviceable bricks retrieved from demolition vide srl item No 10 here-in-before shall be reused after proper cleaning & washing etc.

Material and labour brick work with sub class 'B' bricks , laid on edges of floor or drain, bedded and jointed in CM (1:4) complete all as specified

Material and labour for brick work with sub class 'B' brick straight orcurved on plain exceeding 6m mean radius as in half brick thick wall in CM(1:4) all as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class 'B' brick straight orcurved on plain exceeding 6m mean radius as in half brick thick wall in CM(1:4), except brick complete all as directed. Old serviceable bricks retrieved from demolition vide srl item No 10 here-in-before shall be reused after proper cleaning & washing etc.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs etc incl necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces of wall and the likes including racking out joints, hacking for keys scrubbing down with water etc any description including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), on brick/concrete surfaces of walls, finished fair and even\ complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint on newly plastered surfaces including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Raking out joints/ pointing to brick work in walls or to bricks on edge in floors, surface channels, roofs, etc in cement mortar including flush pointing to brick walls in Cement Mortar 1:4 (also incl removing rubbish off the premises and keeping the surface to pointed wet for 2 days prior to re-pointing), complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation of manholes, laying sewage pipes or for drains etc. not exceeding 10Sqm on plan & not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out including trimming sides and leveling bottom surfaces, watering & well ramming to the required level/slope, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes 150 mm/200mm(Salt glazed store ware AC or reinforceconcrete) set in cement mortar, including removing rubbish out side MOD land complete as specified.

Material and labou for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using graded aggragate) bed for drainpipes including packing under and haunching against the pipes of sides after they are laid and tested for 150 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, RCC pipes 150mm dia, class NP2, laid on concrete bed and jointed in cement sand mortar (1:1), and tested, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, for cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains pipe of size 150mm dia pipe making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel(1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 smooth finished and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour,for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in (excavated soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material (soil) to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m and depositing where directed, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Surface channels and drains including necessary formwork & moulds complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position, as in manhole cover etc complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour, precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in cover slabs of manholes,with lifting hookes, and set in CM 1:4, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) The qupted rates shall deemed to include for porviding two handles of MS round bars 12mm dia and 75mm x 5mm flat iron framework around the RCC cover made to shape as specified in each cover complete (b) Reinforcement and Flate iron shall be measured and paid seprately

Supply and fix TMT bar 6 to 8mm dia and above cut to length bent to shape required including cranking hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel (annealed) wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling fencing / wire mesh, any type complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section embedded in concrete,brick work, masonry etc, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in posts holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cubic metre, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and making good surface in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix Mild Steel angle iron or other flat or round sections cofirming to Fe-290 Gde E165 as required for posts or struts in fencing including cutting at top and bottom to shape as directed, including welding the cut portion at top, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. mild steel round bar 6 mm dia nibs, connecting struts to posts with 2 Nos. mild steel bolts 50 mm long 10 mm dia and washers, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only MS galvanized fencing, any size or type complete all as specified and directed Note : Fixing shall be measured and paid seperatly

Fixing only chain link MS galvanized fencing of any size with GI wire including line wires any mesh, size and type to any type of standars rails, straining bolts,etc incl provision of binding wire, complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix 10mm dia MS round bars including welding with necessary lapping confirming to Fe 290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm but n exc 10cm long with diameter of shank 5 to 10mm complete all as specified and directed.

Matearial and Labour for preperation of new steel surface of any description, not exceeding 10cm in width or girth when unconnected and applying two coat of synthetic enamal paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coats of red oxide on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth including preparation new surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for preparation of old painted steel or iron surfaces over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint as on concertain angles/fencing angles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old barbed wire fencing of any description complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and Fix Galvanised in two strands, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire to be measured

Fixing only and restraining, resecuring incl making good staples etc, (Galvanised two strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing) to any type of standard rails including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire to be measured. Old wire retrieved under item 45.00 will be used under this item.

Taking down steel gates from its position and repair the same including thorughtining alignment properly including welding additional stiffner, brases, pintol hinges locking arrangement etc and erecting the same back in position , including PCC 1:2:4 for fixing hinges, area of each leaf of gate n.exc 6.5Sqm each all as directed. (Note : Necessary MS sections such as angle, pipe, bars, flats etc will be measured and paid seperately)

Material and labour for mild steel as in framed work of doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing similar work conforming to Fe-290 Grade E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of PCC in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish out MoD land complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour, Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates, as in sub base of pavement laid to required gradient and slope, incl necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer on concrete surfaces, over 10cm width or girth, including preparation ,complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out silt, gravel bounders, vegetation grass from complete chocked and blocked and fully filled up Nallah/ Culvert with revoming the silt rubbish to distance exc 150m but n.exc. 500m complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls including taking down old pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair PVC (SWR) bend 110 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair PVC (SWR) pipes single sheeted in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors, of 110 mm bore including taking down old pipes and including necessary excavation and demolition of PCC etc if required complete all as specified and directed.
