Material and labour for preparing of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc., complete and applying cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) mopping of total cold liquid PME 1.00 Litre per Sqm (undiluted) for two coats of mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME:Water) and ensuring uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and all as specified and as directed.
Note: The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting this rate for this item :- (a) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicator of the manufacturer only. (b) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/ cracks with 0.6 mm to 2.36mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer's instructions. (c) A performance guarantee certificate for two year shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the works as specified.
Material and labour for applying 2.5 mm thick retro reflective thermoplastic road marking painting of specified shade/ colour etc., either continuous or broken lines, to the required width and length over the existing painted surface/ new bituminous surface with solvent based thermoplastic road marking paint (Retro reflective paint) Brand: Road King or equivalent brand approved by MORTH, IRTC and AAI including supply of paint material at the rate of 5 Kg per Sqm and glass beads at the rate of 0.35 Kg per Sqm (Reflective Index 1.5), applied using semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe heater, glass bead dispenser and propane tank heater, driven by experienced operator on road including all materials, labour, T&P and including cleaning the road surface of dirt, seals, oil, gease and foreign materials etc., complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Thermoplastic Retro reflective paint shall be applied as per manufacturers instructions along with MOST specifications and speciality)
Material and labour for applying two coats of aqua water based painting of any tint approved by MORTH, IRTC and AAI as in lettering, dashes, arrows including preparation of old painted bituminous surfaces exc 10cm width, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Aqua based paint shall be applied as per manufacturers instructions along with MOST technology and specially by using mechanical sprayer.)
