Upon completion, the unit operational capacity should be increased from the designed 25MLD upto 47MLD (excluding overloading) per unit with an overall increment of 85- 90% in its process efficiency. Submission of the following designs and drawings, including getting the same vetted from NIT/IIT and approved by the Technical Sanctioning authority. The agency shall submit only one set in hard copy for approval. Once approved, the agency shall submit 3 sets of approved submissions in hard copy each stamped and signed by the Technical Sanctioning authority. The following Designs, Drawings and Documents to be submitted:
(i) Hydraulic Design & Analysis and establishing Hydraulic flow diagram.
(ii) Design & General Arrangement Drawings of TUBE SETTLERS including detailing and sections wherever necessary.
(iii) Structural Design, Drawings, Detailing & Sections of supporting Galvanized mild steel builtup/ tubular sections and CLF bridge and any additional civil structure as and where required
(iv) Design & Drawings of replacement to the existing bridge and scrapper blade assembly.
(v) Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Paneling details for the motor/gearboxes of Flocculators and End Carriage Mechanism

(iv) Cantilever supporting galvanized mild steel builtup/ tubular sections.
(v) Modified galvanized mild steel scrapper blade assembly.
(vi) Bolted end connections if any.
(vii) Galvanized mild steel Collection troughs.
(viii) FRP partition boards.

Installation, Erection and other Civil works etc. complete.
(i) Increasing the area of ports of central shaft including breaking & remaking of RCC structure using epoxy bonding agent of reputed make.
(ii) Installation of galvanized mild steel supporting plates on the stem of the unit and CLF bridge mechanism at requisite locations including drilling and inserting SS 304 grade bolts held in position by rapid setting grout of reputed make.
(iii) Erection of factory made pre-fabricated galvanized mild steel supporting structure with end connections of SS304 bolted or welded type.
(iv) Erection of FRP partition boards to act as baffle for tube settling zone held in position with suitable SS 304 grade bolted end connections.
(v) Erection of tube modules over radial trusses, firmly held in position using necessary fast setting bonding agent so as to avoid short circuit flow, not passing through sloping plate or tube module. Spaces between the module and adjacent side wall shall be completely sealed.

(i) Daily sampling & testing of the influent, effluent from the retrofitted unit along with effluent from clarrifloculator unit for comparison.
(ii) Standard method of sampling and testing to be adopted.
(iii) All available tests to be conducted at WTP laboratory/ NABL accredited private laboratories in Goa.
(iv) All testing to be done for 9 parameters and should include pH, TSS, Turbidity, Colour, Mn, Fe.
(v) Atleast 3 samples from each retrofitted unit, sampled at equidistant and from the collection launder in every shift of operation, to be tested.
(vi) Necessary charges towards the testing shall be borne by the agency.
