DSR 2023 (Civil) Items Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom.

Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer- in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured to calculate volume for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer- in-Charge.
With material conforming to Grade-II (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) having CBR Value-25
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Taking out existing kerb stones of all types from footpath/ central verge, including removal of mortar etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

(Old CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the department free of cost).

Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete interlocking paver blocks in footpath, parks, lawns etc. of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by block making machine with strong vibratory method, laid in required colour & pattern laid over 20mm thick compacted bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing position precast reinforced cement concrete bollards of size 950mm height 150 mm dia vibro compacted accuarately designed, moulds appropriate reinfrced 4 nos. 8mm dia 950 mm long longitudinal reinforcement, (4 nos. 12mm dia 450mm long at bottom) and 4 mm dia stirrups 150mm center to center with plastic spaced and concrete grade of M-25 as per approved design/drawing. The bollards shall be fixed in CC block mix 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and of size 30x30x30 cm including earth work in excavation, paint & etc. complete as per direction and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge.
