UPKEEPING AND MAINT OF SEWAGE SYSTEM INCLUDING CLEANING OF OHT AND REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF SEWAGE LINES IN NEW CANTT SOUTH ZONE AT PATIALA UNDER GE (SOUTH) PATIALA

'Notes: (i) Please refer Schedule 'A' Notes of tender documents.

Cleaning of sludge under ground sewage network including manholes obstruction free by removing any type of blockage in any kind of manhole or lines including removing blockage inside the building from EWC/WC/floor trap/gully trap etc in old cantt area by deploying adequate manpower and suitable T&P so as to avoid damage to the line/structure complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Sewage network under new cantt area consists various dia of pipe lines varying from 10mm dia to 450mm dia. (ii) Contractor or his rep will report daily at complaint cell of New cantt at 9.00 AM for collection of complaints from the concerned JE's Incharge, on failure a penalty of Rs. 500/- per day in addition to delay in attending the complaints will be charged. A seperate muster roll register will be maintained in AGE office. (iii) Immediately after lodging daily complaints by the users or directed by the EIC consequent to his routine check, the concerned JE shall intimate/hand over the complaint to the contractor or his rep for attending complaints to the satisfaction of user / Engineer-in-charge within 24 Hrs. In case of failure to attend the complaint within specified period, a penalty of Rs.100/- per day per complaint shall be imposed on the contractor for the period the work remains incomplete. After 03 days from the date of handing over of complaint, the unattended complaints shall be got completed from any other agency at the risk and cost of the contractor without any notice to the contractor. (iv) In case of disputes as to delay happened in attending the complaint or inadequate period, decision of Accepting Officer shall be final, conclusive and binding. (v) During cleaning of deep manholes or pipe lines, for precautions, contractor will also arrange oxyzen cylinder of suitable size, rope/chain to the workmen and cost there of shall be included nnder this item.

Cleaning the sewage soakage pipes, septic tanks of any dia depth and in any location etc by taking out complete sludge water and solids mechanically by HCV mounted suction discharge machine having flow back facility with sludge tank of adequate capacity removing & disposing the entire retrieved material to a distance not exceeding 1000 meter outside the periphery of defence land and covering the entire sludge with local earth complete all as directed Note : Depth of sludge in the pit shall be measured from the bottom of pit to the existing water/effluent lever prior to ordering the cleaning in the presence of EIC.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 Mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Serial items No. 4 herein before but exceeding 1.5 Mtr and not exceeding 3.00 Mtr depth soil complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonary built in cement mortor including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work in cement mortar (1:6) using sub class 'B' bricks staight or curved on plan exc 6.0 m mean raidus complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work using sub class B old size bricks built in cement mortar 1:6 straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius (Except bricks) complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description, any thickness from external surfaces of walls/soffits etc. incl raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement plastering 15mm thick in cemet mortar 1:4 including mixing of liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions on brick work or concrete surfaces or in chajjas/ parapet walls etc finished even and fair without using extra cement as and where directed complete all as specified and as directed.
