GRASS CUTTING INCLUDING VEGETATION, RUNWAY SHOULDERS AND UNDERSHOOTS AT BOTH ENDS IN AIRFIELD AREA AT AIRFORCE STATION THANJAVUR

Surface dressing in soft / loose soil not exceeding 15 cm deep by manually to remove vegetation and small inequalities at edges of runway shoulder and removal of soil/waste materials away from airfield area etc all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Machinenary and labour for cutting of grass / vegetation upto ground level along the edges of runway / PTT/LTT/ TARMAC without any damages to edges including mobilization of necessary tools and machinaries required , removing the rubbishes (obtained in cutting of grass) away from runway premises to distance exeeeding 4km and n.exc 5km all as specified and as directed.

Cutting of grass and bushes at shoulder of runway / PTT/LTT/ TARMAC up to ground level by using jungle jim with tractor including removing the rubbishes (obtained in cutting of grass) away from runway premises to distance exeeeding 4km and n.exc 5km all as specified and as directed.

Machinenary and labour for cutting of grass / vegetation along sides of strom water drain and other areas where jungle jim can not be operated including mobilization of necessary tools and machinaries and removing the rubbishes (obtained in cutting of grass) away from runway premises to distance exeeeding 4km and n.exc 5km all as specified and as directed. Note for item No.2,3,4 (a)Grass cutting to be carried in Air force airfield operational area. (b) Each Grass cutting shall be measured separetely. (c) Rate quoted for the item is for each cutting. (d) Contractor has to provide minimum T&P as below :- (i) Jungle Jim with Tractor - 02 Nos (at a time one No must be in working condition and as per the demand both should be operated at site). (ii) Grass / Bush cutter – 06 Nos (at a time 04 Nos must be in working condition and as per the demand 06 Nos should be operated at site).
