Water Supply

Taking out defective submersible pump & motor from bore well with the help of chain pulley after disconnecting electrical connections from motor starter, disconnecting the column pipe from supply pipe line, opening each column pipe by unscrewing nut bolt, rubber packing of each column pipe, submersible cable and keeping a side for reuse the number of column pipe to be taken out upto 24-28 Nos. alongwith submersible cable, for repair / replacement of parts to make it fully functional, reassembling the same after repair, lowering/ installation to its original position, electric connection of input/ output electric supply, connecting the column pipe to supply pipe line testing to its full load capacity at least for 4 hours and all other relevant tests including any minor repair, replacement of rubber gasket for column pipe etc. transportation to workshop and vice-versa, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of submersible motor 35 HP 415 volts 50 Hz 3 phase AC electric supply, taking out the burnt winding of stator, removal of burnt insulation material from the slots, cleaning the stator slots and preparation for rewinding the same and material and labour for winding the stator of motor with PVC insulated copper wire of standard size and superior quality copper winding wire as per the existing gauge including the F class insulation materials, turning, balancing & alignment of rotor etc. to get the proper RPM and torque & tested to its full load capacity complete all as specified and directed Note :- Spare parts required to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only'.

Opening of pump set 6 to 8 stage, 700-900LPM at 112mtr head for repair and replacement of unserviceable parts, reassembling the same after repair, machining work of impeller housing, remetaling of pump shaft, grinding, scraping, cleaning and balancing the same to make it fully functional at the full load capacity including turning, balancing & alignment of shaft etc. reassembling of complete Pump & Motor set and testing on completion for the entire satisfaction of Engineer – in - Charge all as directed. Note:- Spare parts required to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply only'.

Taking out of old unserviceable column pipe from tubewell and supply and lowering MS column pipe confirming to relevant IS heavy duty 6 mtr depth of size 80mm dia with both end flanged /drilled and connecting complete with rubber gasket ,nuts bolts and washer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. unserviceable column pipe shall be deposited to MES store yard by contractor at his own arrangement. 2. All T&P required for taking out /lowering of pipe shall be managed by contractor and no extra shall be admissible on this account.

Supply and fixing/laying in replacement cable submersible PVC insulated water proof with copper conductor cable 3x16sqmm ,1100 volt grade after taking out old unserviceable cable confirming to IS complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply only sodium Hypo chlorite( NaOCL) chemical solution conforming to IS-1673/86 having chloride content 10 % by weight (bleach liquid solution) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in Charge. Note : Chemical solution shall be supplied by the contractor as on requirement basis through out the currency of the contract .Therefore the contractor shall procure the chemical solution in piecemeal as per requirement .. Contractor shall also arrange independent testing of chemical from Govt authorized laboratory at his own expense. The cost of testing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Payment of supply of Sodium chlorite solution shall only be made on production of test report.

Draining out water completely from RCC over head Reservoir of capacity 275000 gallons in two parts at 60 feet staging and material and labour for desludging of RCC over head reservoir manually ,cleaning the inner portion of RCC tank by brooming with fine brush ,removing complete silt,sludge,vegetations unwanted foreign materials etc manually under artificial pressure from the tank, filling of cracks with pidilite /Dr fixit non shrink compound suitable to potable water to make tank leak proof. Plastering in CM 1:4, 15mm thick to the internal & external surfaces of the damaged portions of the reservoir and staging and applying two coats of cement base paint to the external surface of the reservoir and staging. Painting with black synthetic enamel paint to the all CI pipe line and other MS work etc fitted with the RCC OH reservoir and staging including making a block in Synthetic enamel paint 1mtr in height black base and writing in 50mmx50mm size letters with white synthetic enamel paint, DATE OF TANK CLEANING complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation & earth work in any type soil for locating the leakage in existing cast iron water mains any type/size 80/100mm bore (including all fittings) and rectifying the leakage complete all as specified and directed. Note: Any CI fittings/specials, joint & jointing material etc required for the rectification of leakage shall be measured & paid for separately.

Opening of underground sludge sump of size 5.00x 3.00 x 10.00 metre depth of capacity 480 KLD, removal of settled sludge, cleaning the sewage from walls / ceiling etc.all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Opening of underground grit chamber of size 18.00 x 1.00 x 0.50 metre depth, removal of settled sludge, cleaning the sewage from walls/ ceiling etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Opening of underground secondary clarifier ditch 8.00 m dia x 5.00 m depth, removal of settled sludge, cleaning the sewage from walls/ ceiling etc.all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Opening of underground oxidation ditch 36mx6mx2.5mtr depth, removal of settled sludge, cleaning the Sewage from walls/ ceiling etc. including one coat of cement based paint to outer surfaces after scraping of old surfaces and painting to iron rails/ supports/ ladders etc. with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality over a coat of red oxide primer after scraping of old painted surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of sludge from dry bed of size 10x5x1.50mtr depth, removal of settled sludge, cleaning the sewage from walls/ ceiling etc. including one coat of cement based paint on surfaces after scraping of old painted surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Opening of underground sump of size 5.00 m dia x 12.00 m depth, at sewage booster installation, removal of settled sludge, cleaning the sewage from walls/ ceiling etc. including one coat of cement based paint to outer surfaces and painting to iron rails/ supports/ ladders etc. with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality over a coat of red oxide primer after scraping of old painted surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down carefully electrically operated clarifier mechanism with complete accessories from ditch 8m dia and 5 mtr depth and repair/replacement of damaged periphery MS strip (rail) of size 150mm wide 6mm thick and 34 mtr length and re assemble the complete accessories of the mechanism such as aerator cylindrical rotor of capacity 480 KLD x 300 RPM, gear box etc including turning balancing and alignment of mechanism made fully functionable by replacement of unserviceable item carbon brushes of motor bearing of clarifier, in CM (1:4) cement plaster 15mm thick to periphery where required including assembling completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down carefully electrically operated oxidation pump mechanisam assembly with reudction gear box unit ,cleaning removal,rust and durt ,oiling /greasing of bearings replacement of fan belts ,gear box ,shaft key, central coupling ,bearing etc by opening it complete all as specified and directed and testing and completion of engineer in charge

Taking out self priming non clog submersible pump set after removal of electrical connections, disconnecting suction/ delivery pipeline connection, from sewage well upto 6m depth and transportation to workshop for repair & vice versa. Refixing after carrying out repair /rewinding of submersible pump set 5 HP capacity electrically driven by 3phase 415volts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item No 2.10 but pump set electrically driven by 3phase 415volts capacity 3HP but installed at ground level complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for painting of monoblock /centrifugal pump set up to 5 HP 3 phase with a coat approved colour paint including inlet and outlet pipe line over a coat of red oxide primer on rusted parts complete including preperation of old painted surface complete all specified and directed by Engineer in charge

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of wall mounted motor control panel, cubicle type suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ AC supply system having bus bar chamber with air insulated PVC sleeved withg colour code on copper bus bar of rating 200Amps for phases and 100 Amps for neutral fixed on porcelain insulators. Material and labour for rewinding to burnt transformer of voltage stabilizer 5 KVA with copper winding wire including varnishing with super quality varnish, suitable size of thimble , mica paper and testing after rewinding complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
