Construction of Farmer Hostel building at Chambaghat Distt. Solan

Cutting in earth work by manual means and mechanical means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiselling/ wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering where ever required, setting to the required line, grades, side slopes trimming bottoms and level as shown on the drawing as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to HP.PWD specifications and sorting out useful/un-useful materials and transportation of un-useful material at approved dumping site of municipal committee Solan or otherwise (to be arranged by the contractor on his own risk and cost. ) including payment of prescribed charges of dumping to the owner of dumping site to be borne by the contractor. Stacking the service abilable material in all leads and lifts and levelling and disposing off surplus excavated earth in on dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load , animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and all labour , machineries, materials, tools equipment and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if any required), dumping site for disposal of surplus earth/ material to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and risk nothing extra shall be paid in respect of disposal of surplus excavated earth to dumping sites. All useful materials, such as stones, shingles, aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation and used / removed as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects, including all incidental charges.

Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, complete including carriage of material in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) all kind of soils., including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. complete including carriage of material in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete nominal mix 1:6:12 (one cement isto six sand isto twelve graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty milimeters) nominal size) Mechanically mixed, vibrated and curing complete in open foundations and plinths for all type of structure including the cost of form work complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 (Eight hundred two, eight hundred three, one thousand two hundred two and one thousand two hundred three) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidental charges.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:5:10 (one cement : five coarse sand): ten graded stone aggregate 40 mm(forty milimeter) nominal size)as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 (Eight hundred two, eight hundred three, one thousand two hundred two and one thousand two hundred three) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidental charges.

Providing and laying cement concrete of 1:4:8. (One cement: four coarse sand : Eight graded stone aggregate 40 mm(forty milimeter) nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of centring and shuttering in all work upto plinth level. including all leads and lifts and carriage of materials and other incidentals. for all type of structure including the cost of form work as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 (Eight hundred two, eight hundred three, one thousand two hundred two and one thousand two hundred three) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidental charges.

Providing & applying a coat of residual petroleum bitumen of grade of VG-10 of approved quality using 1.7kg(one point seven kilogramme) per square metre on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes and finally with apiece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportion in all leads and lifts, including all incidental charges.

Second class Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred millimeter) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1:20 (One verticle isto twenty horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7(six hundred fourteen, seven hundred nine, one thousand two hundred four point three point seven) or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all lead and lift and other incidentals charges.

Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour casement/ Casement cum fixed glazed door comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame, sash and mullion (where ever required) extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, zinc alloy (white powder coated) 3D hinges and one handle on each side of panels along with zinc plated mild steel multi point locking having transmission gear, cylinder with keeps and one side key, G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws, etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion at all corners, mullion (if required) shall be also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in- Charge. Casement door with 3D hinges made of (big series) frame 67 x 64 mm & sash 67 x 110 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. (Area of door upto 2.00 sqm).

Providing and fixing cup board shutters with 19mm(nineteen milimeter) thick water proof commercial board IS marked with 6mm (six milimeter) thick hard wood edging (paintable) with inside lining of P.G.I. sheet with necessary screws and bright finished stainless steel piano hinges, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing cup board shutters 19 mm(nineteen milimeter) thick water proof commercial board in shelves/cabinet with necessary screws and bright finished stainless steel piano hinges, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing plain multipurpose cement board (High pressure steam cured) with suitable screws for cement particle board in ceiling etc. complete (frame work to be paid separately) 6mm(six milimeter) thick cement fiber board as per IS: 14862 as per detail complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works including carriage of all labour, equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportion in all leads and lifts, including all incidental charges.

40 mm thick cement concrete flooring with metallic concrete hardner topping under layer of 35 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement:2 sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and top layer of 15 mm thick metallic concrete hardner consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardner mix : 2 stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) by volume with which metallic hardening compound of approved quality is mixed in the ratio 4:1 (4 parts of cement: 1 part of metallic floor handening compound of approved quality by weight) including finishing complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

20mm thick plain cement mortar Flush bands in cement mortar 1:4(1 cement:4 sand)above 300mm in width complete as per HP.PWD.
