NOTE (Applicable for all items) :- The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum / amendments and General conditions of contracts before entrying/quoting the rates.

Excavating in trenches,in soft/loose soil n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth, for laying of pipes, foundation etc or shafts, walls, cesspits, manholes, pier holes,etc.n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out all as specified and as directed.

Returning,filling in,including spreading,leveling,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm.

Removal of excavated material (soil) to a distance not exc 50 m away from starting point and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for cutting of the existing following type of road surface and making good the surface as per existing finishes complete all as specified and directed :-

PCC road / hard standing / floor, etc. exc. 45 cm. and not exc. 90 cm in depth and width 45 cm (min) for laying of pipe, tubing, etc. and making good and finished & matching the disturbed surfaces with existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of exsiting Bituminous road exc. 45 cm. and not exc. 90 cm in depth and width 45 cm (min) for laying of pipe, tubing, etc. and making good and finished & matching the disturbed surfaces with existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for construction of valve chamber of internal size 1.2 mtr x 1.2mtr x 1.2 mtr with 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8 ) type D-2 for foundation , brick walls built in cement mortor (1:4 ) , PCC 1:2:4 type B1 for coping , rendering in cement mortor 1:4 , 15 mm thick both internally and externally upto 15 cm below GL including provision of MS sheet cover using angle iron 50 x 50 x 6 mm as a frame embedded in concrete and 3 mm thick MS sheet as in cover with necessary locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and two coats of white wash after preparation of surafces including necessary earth work and excavation complete including demolition of existing old valve chamber and removing demolished material to a distance exc 1.5 km and not exc 1 km and depositing where directed.

M & L for taking out old corroded unserviceable MS sheet cover, frame etc from top of the roof of the under ground sump with MS channel base square / circular type , of size and shape as per size requirement , including providing of new valve cover made out of 3 mm MS sheet cover with 50 cm X 50 cm X 6 mm angle iron base frame including painting with two coats synthetic enamel black paint over acoat of red oxide primer complete with locking arrangements all as specified and directed.

Taking out sluice valve any type and size including re- facing, re- grinding of shutter and re - fixing the same including providing rubber insertion sheet , gland packing rope , nuts , bolts and washers etc to make the sluice valve leak proof and free. operational all as specified and directed for the following sizes :- Note :- Rate of rubber insertion sheet,nut,bolts,washers etc will deemed to be included in the item rate.

Taking out submersible pump set for repair or developement from Bore wells including dismantling and taking out column pipes of any Bore & length alongwith submersible cable, wire rope etc; and re-lowering the pump set after carrying out necessary development or repairs / replacement of defective parts all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Spares for repairs/rewinding of pump and motor will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for complete rewinding of submersible motors AC, 3 phase, 440 volt with superior quality PVC insulated copper submersible winding wire of identical gauge and specification of the existing unserviceable winding wires with all necessary insulating materials and other connected works including cleaning of stator and slots, complete servicing and applying one coat of water proof epoxy paint to the exteriors of motor after preparation of surface and testing complete all as specified on load of capacity :- (Note : Any spares required to be replaced other than mentioned in this item will be measured and paid separately as supply only).
