Amount

Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of .surplus excavated soils as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

a) Ordinary rock

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material.

a) Beyond 60 cm girth up to and including 120 cm girth

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 M.sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.50 M. sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement

a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 M.sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 M.sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

b) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

c) Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete

a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 100 mm thick Grade 1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum conforming to IS:2185 (Part 3) in foundation and plinth level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 M. sand). The rate includes providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of masonry work as directed by the E-in-c

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks masonry with 100mm thick with Grade 1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum conforming to IS:2185 (Part 3) in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 M. sand ). The rate includes providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of masonry work as directed by the E-in-c

6 mm cement plaster of mix :

a ) 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand)

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade

a) New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm)

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

a) Two or more coats on new work

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

a) In cement mortar

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Credit for cutdown wooden logs available at site as is where basis including cutting the logs to the desired size and keeping the site clean after all disposal of wooden logs off the site as directed by the E-in-c

Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete over compound wall, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete as directed by the E-in-c. ( (Cost of posts, struts, and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used.

a) With G.I. barbed wire

Supplying at site Angle iron post & strut of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. etc. complete.
