(iv) Soil conductivity will be chcked prior to proceeding for earthing so as to ascertain 2 ohm earth resistance with above specification.

Design, supply, erection, commissioning & testing of outdoor type LT Feeder Pillar box of overall size not less than 2200mm(W) X1500mm (H) (Without Canopy & Base Channel) X 750mm Depth, MS Channel Base Frame mounted (to be mounted on the 3 side (front & two sides) covered brick. pedestal of height 450 mm above ground level) , suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts AC supply and having 4 Nos Aluminium bus bars of rating 1000 amps, Provision of Spreader link to both incoming and outgoing side of MCCBs for termination of cables the Feeder Pillar shall be duly fabricated in a approved / certified factory / fabrication house who posseses type test certificate from CPRI for similar type of Feeder Pillar. The Feeder Pillar shall be provided with suitable rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof and degree of protection not less than IP-54 and general construction conforming to IS : 13947. The feeder pillar shall be made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and 3.15mm thick gland plate and having compartmentalized construction for individual switchgears and Bus Bars and having front opening facility (with double layer shutter) and rear opening facility with single layer shutter with locking facility and 2 side slanting canopy type roof on top and mild steel channel (MC-75) base frame at bottom, suitable for mounting on the 3 side covered (front,& two sides) brick pedestal through grouting bolt, The panel board shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation. The bottom of the outer shell contains a detachable plate with hing provision for entry of armoured cable with adequite size glands. Provision of earthing studs at bottom and threaded lifting lugs of suitable size at top to lift the feeder pillar box safely shall be made. Computer cut self adhesive vinly danger notice plate having conventional symbol of bone and skull shall be provided.
INNER SHELL :- Inner shell made of 2 mm thick CRCA MS sheet compartmentalized to accomodate each control gear, front openable, single door system lockable / openable with "U' type gasket to make the inner shell completely dust & vermin proof having chromium plated locks (2 Nos in each compartment) All control wiring shall be with not less than 1.5 Sqmm multistranded copper conductor FRLSH and shall be properly bunched. tied, ferruled for proper identification and crimped with adequite size of lugs. The cubical shall have a bottom channel of size 75x75x5 mm duly pained with zinc based primer. A detachable predrilled gland plate of thickness 3.15 mm should be used at the bottom, An inspection lamp with 11 Watt LED shall be fitted on top side of inner shell.
