M&L for Dismantling the compressor of 50 TR from installed position after disconnecting the suction and discharge refrigerant line, open the compressor and carry out the repairs/ replacement of unserviceable parts, setting of valve reeds, valve plates, bearings, loading and unloading mechanism, pistons with rings, oil seals, oil pumps etc after carrying out necessary lathe work for grinding and polishing the worn out seatings/ housing of the compressor body and assembling with essential minor parts i.e. split pins, nuts, bolts, washers, rubber rings etc and fixing in its position including testing for proper functioning complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pumping down the refrigerant for re use from the gas line to the chillar unit, removing the existing insulation at the shell and tube chiller and carefully dismantling the refrigerant pipe lines, chilled water circulation pipe lines with valves on both inlet and outlet side. Cut open the chiller in a dust free environment with proper tools and equipments and replacement of the damaged existing copper gas pipe line with new annealed copper pipe line of the existing diameter with minimum 0.5mm thick fixing in original position including necessary brazing/ welding and fixing for smooth functioning. Re-assembling the chiller unit with proper Air tight sealed for leak proof by ensuring filling with Nitrogen gas for 72 hours pressure test and covered the complete chiller with nitrate insulation with minimum 19mm thick before connecting, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Opening and assembling should be done by the authorised dealer and all the spares should be provided through OEM.

M&L for disconnecting, dismantling and strip opening of the existing air handling unit of any description and in any position and of capacity of 50 TR for overhauling and servicing, including taking out existing shaft, blower drum, pulley and de-humidifier pump etc of air handling unit, checking thoroughly serviceability of the parts, fixing the serviceable parts in positiion, replacement of the defective/non functional/unserviceable parts/spares, reassembling, commissioning, fixing in position and testing of the air handling unit on full load for its smooth and trouble free operation complete all as specified and directed.

The complaints shall be attended with in 48 hrs. If the complaints is/are not attended /not completed on the Stipulated time period (except repair/ replacement of major items, like replacement of cooling coil, condensing coil, fan motor etc in the openion of Engr -in- charge) recovery will be done as follows :- (a) After 48 Hrs, (Except Major repair in the openion of Engr-Charge) Rs - 1000.00 Per complaint per day till rectification of defects and in the meantime complaints will get rectified by the deptt by other means, the penalty of twice of rectification cost shall be made from contractor dues and the decision of GE in this regard shall be final & binding and no re presentation what so ever shall be entertained. 3. The technicians for repair of summer appliances can be called during non-working days/hrs (i.e. Sunday, Holidays & after working hrs) for any vital complaint at DRDO area and quoted rates are deemed to be included for this provision. 4. Design, supply,install, testing and comissioning of free standing floor mounted, dust and vermin proof Panel of suitable size for out door installation, factory made, both front and rear side double door system, fabricated with 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet for load bearing members and 2 mm thick for doors and covers and shall be painted witrh epoxy powder paint by means of electro static gun after rigorous pre treatment comprising of cold phosphating process on all internal and external surfaces after due preparation of surfaces. Attending day to day complaints of street light / flood light / bollard light/ tower lights of any make/type/ capacity and repairing for proper functioning including replacing small parts. Including carrying out minor repairs etc as required to make the system in order / functional including replacing fuse wire , copper cable , copper thimbles ,glands , earthing wire, cable jointing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Rate of Fuse wire, copper cable, copper thimbles, glands, earthing wire are deemed to be included in quoted rate of this item. (ii) Complaints shall be attended in Zone-B/KWC residential accn under GE(I) R&D Delhi AOR as directed by Engr in Charge and workmen shall be present daily round the clock for any emergent complaints assigned for complete period of contract complete all as specified and directed. (iii) Contractor will provide ladder for carrying out repair/attending complaints of street light / flood light etc at any height without any extra cost in this respect. (iv) Necessary insurance coverage shall be taken for their all staff by the bidder before commencement of the works and policy of the same shall be submitted to the Engr-in-Charge before comencement of item/work. (v) All rates for the above are deemed to be included in Sch 'A'(BOQ) items (vi) Attending five number of complaints by the workman shall be measured as one job.
