Strengthening the Road from Pungampatty Road to Thalakirai Road via PUE School R-387

Clearing Scrub jungles including and removing from site, disposal by burying or burning etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.

Picking 5 cm to 10 cm old metalled surface and sectioning including all labourcharges.etc. complete.

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Applying PRIMECOAT over WMM surface at 7.00Kg of SS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. Comp.

Applying TACK COAT over Primed WMM surface at 2.5Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. Comp.

Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete to 30/40mm thick using 0.13 cum of 19.00- 9.50mm, 0.17 cum of 9.50-2.36mm and 0.26 cum of 2.36 and below with 47.28kgs of VG30 bitumen and 3.02Kgs of Waste Plastic for premixing per 10sqm including cost and conveyance of all materials to CMP site, heating the bitumen and aggregate to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, conveying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonne Vibratory to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc., including hire charges and fuel charges for 20-30 t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks, Paver Finisher, Vibratory roller and all other tools and plant required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clause 507 of MORTH Rev-5

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller, watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp for base-course and side berms.

Provision for Road Marking including all cost and conveyance labour and Material charge etc, Complete

Rumble Strips - Provision of 15 nos. Rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15-20 mm high at centre, 250 mm wide placed at 1 m centre-to-centre at apporoved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under MGSMT including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost for carriageway width of 3.00m & 3.75m
