Excavation in foundation and trenches (for pipes and pits) up to all depths and in all classification of earth work such as Pick work, Jumper work, chiselling or wedging out of soft and hard rock as blasting is prohibited, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, including cutting of bitumenous/concrete surface wherever required, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting , planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material /soil seperataly and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes (for pipes, Pipe duct, chambers, x-sings etc.), returning the usable soil in 15cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/ lifts and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of galvanized MSERW flanged pipes excluding cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2007 Grade L210 or A as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m - 6m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick sas per IS: 2712-1965 & 95% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face + one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (Earth work in trenches, MS flanges and butt welded joint to be measured and paid for seprately) . The pipe shall have zinc coating as per IS:4736 in factory latest with upto date ammendements.200 mm dia 4.8mm thick GMSERW Pipe "L210 or A" IS/ISO 3183-2007

Providing and welding M.S. flanges (5% of total joints) conforming to following dia and table as per IS: 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end GMS/MSERW pipe in requsite number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of MSERW pipes to be measured and paid for seprately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. 200mm dia T-5

Providing circumferential butt welded joints (95% of total joints) by electrical arc welding to GMSERW pipe, welded in three layer of weld runs on each run so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5mm to 6.3mm of Advani Oerilikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ES/ESAB make,conforming to IS 814-1991, include Die pentration test,at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. 200mm dia

Supply of submersible pumping set of reputed make such as KSB/ Calama / BS/ Worthigton / Sabar/ Seerex /Johnston / Amrut/ lubi/ Hindustan/Groundfos confirming to latest relevent BIS . The pump should be fitted with free fine impellers of suitable alloys as per BIS ; 5659-1978 with upto date amendments, suitable for raw / clear water having greased packed bearing and shell with wound stator on motor side and with shaft protection on pump side ensuring better life for shaft conforming to BIS specifications. The pump shall be directly coupled to submersible motor of same as that of offered submersible pump make confirming to BIS ;9283-1979 with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible pump, duly isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed, lubricated bearing and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand non vertical loads with minimum wear tear.It should also be fitted with a device to make up expantion of water with heating of motor. Providing and fixing pressure gauge of Prega / Precision / Fiebig make complete with all accessories such as stop cock, copper tubing as per IS ; 3624-1987 with upto date amendements

Supply of PVC jointless,flat water proof cable with copper conductor as per BIS 694-1998 latest with upto date ammendments of Havelles/Finolex make suitable for the pumpsets offered from OCB to motor including all other electrical equipments / accessories such as thimble, flexible pipe,solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands, clips etc, laid in pipes or trenches under floor.The type, size and make shall be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities.

Lowering of GMS Column pipe for assembly 125 mm dia including MS flanges' of Table 17 as per IS : 6392-1971 with upto date amendments, rubber / asbestos gasket of min.3 mm thickness as per IS 2712-1979 and required numbers of nuts and bolts as per IS ;1364-1983 .The Column pipe shall be as per relevent IS Code and to withstand 1.50 times total head stipulated under item No.5 . The Column pipe should be extended upto 5 mtr. beyond the outer wall of the pump house in the direction of Rising main .The Column pipe should be properly jointed with the Rising main including all necessary accessories like increaser / reducer, flanges, bends etc, including supporting clamps (2 Each) at the top of T/well assembly, and as per the direction of Engineer - in - Charge.( The pipe shall be supplied by the department free of cost from Divisional store Malahat )

Installation of all items appearing as above as per the systematic drawing attached with the documents or as per the direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Providing and laying copper PVC insulated armoured power cable (one cable carrying all the three phases) of suitablle size and capacity to motors and all other electrical equipments as per IS ;1554 ( P-I ) 1988 or latest with upto date amendments of Seimen /Gloster / IEC / ICC / EICO / National / Grandlay Finolex/ Havells make including all other accessories such as thimble, flexible pipes, solder nuts and bolts,cable glands etc. laid in pipes of trenches under floor.
