Marine Boreholes: Mobilizing and demobilizing of boring equipment, all other necessary machinery, including jack up for marine holes, and personnel for boring work including all other enabling works including site establishment etc. for Marine Boreholes (60% of the total amount under this item shall be released upon mobilization and balance 40% after demobilization)

Seting-up and transfer of Borehole setup

Setting up Jack up barge / pontoon at each marine borehole location as per location coordinates provided by client

Boring of Soil with 100/150mm diameter boreholes

Boring 100/150mm diameter marine boreholes as specified through gravel, sand, silt clay, hard clay and all types of soils other than boulders or rock to a depth below ground level including the backfilling of all boreholes

Drilling of Rock strata

Drilling Nx size exploratory marine boreholes in moderately weak to slightly weathered rock and collecting core samples in core boxes as per specifications using triple core barrel

Conducting Standard Penetration tests(SPT)

Conducting Standard Penetration tests(SPT) in marine boreholes as per specification

Field Vane Shear Test

Conducting Marine Borehole Vane Shear test as per specification

Collecting undisturbed soil samples (UDS) from boreholes at specified depths including packing, sealing and labelling as specified including provision of sampling tubes, store as necessary, with all handling charges and dispatching the same to laboratory

Collect disturbed bulk bag samples

Collect small disturbed samples

Conducting Laboratory tests on soil samples collected during exploration work as per specification

Moisture content (cohesive soils only)

Liquid limit, plastic limit and plasticity index (Cohesive soils only)
