Improvement to Secondary and Link drains of Gobari Drainage system in Mahanga Block of Cuttack District

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures by manual means in all kinds of soil including stony earth and gravel in both wet and dry condition including shoring, shuttering, propping, bullah, dewatering the foundation, diverting the water away from the structure, dressing, leveling and ramming the foundation bed and sides with pneumatic tampers/ fuel- operated compactors as per the drawing and specification and removing the excavated materials with all leads, lifts and delifts etc. & depositing the excavated materials in the embankment with watering and disposing the excess materials in spoil bank or any other specified areas by manual means with all leads, lifts and delifts complete with cost of construction and maintenance of approach road, diversion road including mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries, all labour charges, labour cess etc. including all taxes and excluding GSTcomplete with all cost incidental to the work as per the drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete M-15 grade (as per design/ nominal mix) in approved surface using 40mm and down graded hard granite well graded crusher broken stone aggregates free from weathered skin surface and any other deleterious materials, using sharp sand of approved grading & quality confirming to the specifications, using water of approved quality with all leads. lifts, delifts and transportation by mechanical / manual means including cost, carriage, royalties including dewatering with all cost, weighing all materials using weigh batcher, mixing the concrete mix ingredients in all mechanical mixer, vibration of concrete by mechanical means, supplying including cost, carriage and royalty, T & P, all labour, labour cess, watering, curing for specified days construction of approach road, diversion road, mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries, Labour cess etc. including quality control testing charges including all taxes and excluding GST as per approved drawings and specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing form work for concrete with F-1 finish for up-stream faces of Dam, Spillway, glacis of barrages, un-exposed surfaces of foundation, block joints etc. with steel shutters rigidly fixed and removal of form and making good to the surfaces wherever necessary including cost, labour charges,labour cess, including all taxes and excluding GST etc. complete.

Providing weep holes in plain/ reinforcement cement concrete, abutments , wing wall/return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extendingthrough the full width of the structure as per IRC – 78 including form works of approved type if required and graded metal backing in near side as per approved design and specification etc. . including cost, conveyance, royalty, Labour Cess, including all taxes and excluding GST complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Rough Stone Dry Packing including Quarrying, Collection & Supplying hard stone boulders of size 15cm to 30 cm. in length in any direction, 0.028 Cum. in volume free from weather skin surface and other deleterious materials and packing in aprons, revetments, slope packing (as per Design and Drawing) including filling the interstices with small stones, wedging and hammering etc. including cost, conveyance, royalty, all labour, cess, from approved quarry of approved quality of uniform color and texture with all leads, lifts, delift, handling and re-handling with cost of labour charges and other incidentals charges and royalty etc. complete and as per Technical Specificationrequired to complete the work and quality control testing charges including all taxes and excluding GST etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge .

Filling foundation & plinth with excavated materials well watered & rammed including T & P, all labour, labour cess, all taxes and excluding GST complete and as per Technical Specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with sand in layers not exceeding 0.23 cm. thick including spreading, watering and ramming with full compaction etc. complete in all leads, lifts & de-lifts including cost, carriage and royalty, T & P, all labour, labour cess, de-watering etc. including all taxes and excluding GST complete as per the direction of the Engineer – in – Charge.

Excavation of drain Channel/ canal by mechanical means of all kinds of soil, including stoney earth, gravel and moorum etc interspread with boulders upto 1/2 cum size with all shifts of excavator including trimming of slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials in both sides of spoil bank including labour cess, all taxes, all labour and excluding GST as per the specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation of any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means including stripping of borrow area and clearing of all stumps, roots, bushes, rubbies and other objectionable materials, laying on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface, breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size and leveling earth in 22.50cm layers to make ready for watering and compaction including carriage of earth by mechanical means, re-handling soil prepared with all cost of labour , supervision charges, materials, T & P and machineries, royalty of the earth, Labour Cess, taxes etc if any with all leads , lifts & de-lifts with all cost of incidental charges to work including all taxes and excluding GST as per drawing and specification etc complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.[(Borrow area will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and responsibility) ( Measurement will be taken on finished & compacted level section)].

Supplying and spreading sand of approved specification for filter in rock toe riprap and filter drains in earth dam and dyke to proper slope and level within an intitial lead including cost, conveyance, royalty, all labour,T & P, Labour Cess, including all taxes and excluding GST etc complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.
