REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF SANITARY FITTING, PLUMBING SUNKEN, ROOF TREATMENT, STEEL GATE, PATH, TILLING ETC AT UNDER AGE B/R-I KANPUR CANTT

Demolition brick tile/cement concrete tiles / APP membrance by using hand held electric drills, cutting machine, chisels etc (direct use of hammers on RCC roof for demolition is strcitly prohibited) of roof treatment including padding concrete of any description including mud in roof any thickness with and including roughening old concrete surfaces by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete type B0 1:2:4 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding, coping, roof kerb incl hunching, benching etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick in CM(1:3) rendering on fair faces concrete surfaces/roof top mixed with liquid water proofing compound finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L water proofing treatment to roof slab with APP modified polymeric membrane thickness not less than 3 mm plain membrane (weight of membrane not less than 3.50 Kg + 5% per Sqm) and weight of centre core polyster mat shall be 160 gram + 15% per Sqm and lower side finished with 10 to 15 micron thermo fusible polyethylene complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge with following courses of descriptions below :-Make of membrane shall be SIKA/Super Thermolay APP (STP) / IWL as approved by GE (a)The surface of roof, parapet and gutters and drains mouth etc over which waterproofing treatment is to be applied shall be thoroughly cleaned of all foreign matter, moss dust etc by wire-brushing and dusting. For cast iron/PVC drains outlets a grove shall be cut around to tuck in the treatment. Concrete angles-fillets provided at junctions between roofs and verticals faces of walls (parapet and other walls) around obstacles such as pipe, chimney stacks etc and other similar situation to ease up about corners. (b) On the prepared surface one coat of Solvent based bituminous primer (Sika® WP shield Primer or other techno commercially Equivalent make of STP/IWL ) shall be applied @ 0.35 to 0.50 Kg/sqm till the surface is properly impregnated. The time delay of laying of membrane after application of primer shall be as per manufacturer instructions. (c) Laying of polymeric waterproofing membrane and bonded completely to the substrate & the overlaps are then sealed /fused by flame torch as per manufacturer instructions. (d) The overlaps shall be of minimum 4 Inch (100 mm) side lap and 150mm at end ,sealed by the flame-torch.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces and applying two coats of aluminium paint over and including a coat of aluminium primer on membrane, over 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work of any description and in any position built in cement mortar including quoins arches and pillars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with fly ash old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 for manholes, drains, septic tanks, soak wells etc. complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 8 above but except bricks complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete / tiles in ground floor and pavings not exc 15cm thickness below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed
