Returning and filling in two parts (i) using riddled soil obtained from excavated soil upto depth of 30 cm (8 cm below cable and remaining above cable for cushioning of cable and (ii) refilling the trench of remaining depth with normal excavated soil complete all as specified and directed. Note- Excavated soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS - 1255-1983 and refilling in trenches as in cable cushioning.

Removing excavated surplus material to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at level n. exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sub class ‘B’ bricks old size. laid dry flat over the cable abutting each other, length of cable equal to width of brick all as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning the UG cable screened unwashed river sand and punning for cushioning to cable complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Disconnecting electrically and taking out old unserviceable HT UG cables any type of size 70 to 120 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacment laying in trenches or passing through pipe/ducts, fixed to wall or poles XLPE insulated screened PVC sheathed galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable with alumn conductor of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 core 11 kV rated suitable for earthed system including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note : (Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning brick covers and GI pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L in replacment laying in trenches or fixing to wall/pole or passing through pipe in replacement of XLPE insulated heavy duty electric armoured cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3.5 core complete including taking out old unsv cable of any type, make & capacity complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Incl making good all distributed wall surfaces/ flooring/tilling to match with existing specification)

Supply and fix in replacement of cable straight through jointing kit for 11 kV grade cable termination heat shrink type joint with jointing material and all accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement cable end jointing kit for 11 kV grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint with jointing material and all accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement cable end jointing kit for 11 kV grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint with jointing material and all accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground, floors or pavings not exceeding 15 cm thick below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Boring of holes under road, pavement hard standing manually/ ultra sounding technique and necessary machine upto 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed. Note:- HDPE DWC/ GI pipe passing through the bore wil be measured & paid seperately.

M&L for pre cast cement concrete (1:2:4) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation filling of stays complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling PCC/steel poles any type and any size including excavation for taking out pole, breaking of PCC block with due care and setting aside complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, errecting and installation of steel tubular swaged pole with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9 metres long) duly painted with two coat of black bituminous paint through out, internally and externally up to planning depth and painting remaining portion of pole with two coat of aluminium paint to the entire exposed surfaces over and including one coat of red oxide primer making/painting three Nos circular strips each of 30 cm wide with one yellow and 02 Nos black colour strip synthetic enamel paint and marking pole number with black paint complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Excavation, earth work, PCC work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items)

S&F in replacement of Power / Control Copper Cables, with solid copper conductor, XLPE insulated, 2.5 sqmm, 6 core cut to pieces including making all necessary connections as per site requirement and removing the old unsv control cables from ducts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting electrically, dismantling from foundation with due care and setting aside HT fedder pillar box any type any size with all accessories complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replecement HT 11 KV bus bar panel outdoor type weather and vermin proof factory fabricated CPRI approved duly painted with two coat of enamelled paint, pedestal type made out of mild steel sheet 3.15mm thick, factory made, using angle iron 40mm x 40mm x 6mm and 500mm high, front opening double shutter weather proof , rust proof, dust proof with provision of rubber gasket and locking arrangement including HT bush, insulator & bus bar color code - 03 Nos and making connection with suitable size of thimbles, nuts, bolts and washers etc incl necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of GI tubing light grade 80mm bore with fittings laid for protection of cable under road crossing fixed to walls or pole complete all as specified and directed. (clamps for fixing pipe, nuts, bolts washers shall be measured separately )

S&F in replacement of in position retro reflective sign board size not less than 2.5 ft to 2 ft, cut to sizes/shape made out of 3 mm thick high density aluminium sheet fixed on wall with aluminium frame work with all weather effected duly riveted with vinyl sheet based of blue colour base by hot process including letter/number as directed fitted on wall with proper arrangement complete all as specified and directed. Note : The subject matter, font , size & colour is to be decided by Engr-in-charge and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

S&F in replacement of in position retro reflective sign board size not less than 3 ft X 4 ft, cut to sizes/shape made out of 3 mm thick high density aluminium sheet fixed on wall with aluminium frame work with all weather effected duly riveted with vinyl sheet based of blue colour base by hot process including letter/number as directed fitted on wall with proper arrangement complete all as specified and directed. M&L for Insulating mats made of Elastomer for use as floor covering for the protection of workers on AC high tension installations with the system voltages up to 11 kV AC and 240 V DC and as per IS:15652 latest in size of 2000X1000mm, class B type, thickness not more than 2.5mm of sheet blue/black in colour complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of unwanted vegetation/bushes/small plants shrubs around the water/electric supply installations/ inside the valve pit and surface excavation not exceeding 15 cm depth leveling the ground and removing the excavated material to a distance exceeding 50 M complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Tools including Cutting, Digging, grass/ bush cutting machine including fuel & oil has to be provided by contractor with machine operator & labour.

Detection of any type of fault in HT underground Line (laid in soil at plane area or forest area) with the help of Cable fault locator machine. Cable fault locator with carrying vehicle will be brought by the cable fault detection agencies. Span of faulty cable will be trace out by the agencies by meggering HT cable complete all as specified and directed.

Detection of any type of fault in LT underground Line (laid in soil at plane area or forest area) with the help of Cable fault locator machine. Cable fault locator with carrying vehicle will be brought by the cable fault detection agencies. Span of faulty cable will be trace out by the agencies by meggering LT cable of size 50 Sqmm 3.5/ 4 core and above complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (Item No 30 & 31): 1. Detection of fault in one span of length will be measured as one Job either machine placed from one side or both side of the cable. 2. Technicians will be employed by the working agencies. 3. Earth work and taking out will be measured and paid seperately. 4. Material for repair and replacement measured and paid saperately. 5. One job shall be measured if the fault has successfully identified by the fault locator machine or removing moisture in the cable if required.

M&L for providing earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5M below ground level connected to GI strip 25 x 4mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc.of copper / brass connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate NO 3 of SSR 1996 part 1, including necessary excavation and earth work in any strata of soil, GI water pipe with 20mm dia medium grade protection pipe 32 mm GI medium grade funnel & wire mesh PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc all as specified and directed. Note:- All the joints shall be made with welding to get proper conductivity.The MS cover should be properly marked with Earthing No & contractor name.

All as per item No 32.00 above but connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm earthing lead and protection pipe of 40 mm GI medium grade by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron/steel all as shown in electric plate No 3 connected to earth test point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing earthing strip 32 x 6 mm GI strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully transformer of any make, any type or capacity from pole / plinth by dismantling, disconnecting HT & LT sides, earthings of transformer, supporting angles / cross arms, shifting / transporting transformer carefully from the site and shifting/refixing at other location under GE (I) Kanpur after cleaning and making all electrical/earthing connections complete all as specified and directed.

Transportation of Transformer from site/ E/M yard to workshop for repairing and from workshop to site/E/M yard after repair etc of capacity upto 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 36.00 above but exceeding 250 KVA not exceeding 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 36.00 above but exceeding 500 KVA not exceeding 750 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantlling top cover of transformer of capacity upto 250 KVA, any make for repair / replacement of HT/LT bushing of transformer or for replacement of top cover gasket or for inspection of transformer or for minor internal repairs of transformer all including draining carefully transformer oil as required / upto the required level and refilling the same, re fixing the top cover of transformer after completion of the work including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note - spare parts will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Material and labour for dismantling of complete HV/LV coils of transformer upto 250 KVA (11/6.6/0.433 kV) and segregating, serviceable and unserviceable coils, serviceable coils shall kept aside for reuse after complete varnishing and testing of each coil including removal of core and accessories such as HV / LV bushings with metal parts, oil temp indicator, winding temp indicator and disconnection of OTI, WTI complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Rewinding of defective HV/LV Coils shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) The rate deemed to be included of all tools and plants.

Dismantling old un-serviceable HT 11 KV bushes and fixing in replacement of HT Bushes porcelain, vitreous with brass spindle, threaded with washer, nuts, lock and rubber seal suitable for transformer of capacity up to 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old un-serviceable LT bushes and fixing in replacement of LT bushes porcelain Vitreous with brass spindle threaded with washers nuts, locknuts and rubber seal for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity not exceeding 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 48.00 above but exceeding 250 KVA not exceeding 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to the leaks of transformer of any cap from tap switch/ fins/ any pats of body, by replacing gasket/seal, or repairs to the leaks of transformer body / fins, by welding / brazing etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking out old burnt winding and rewinding of HT/LT coil of different type, upto 250 KVA capacity and any make of transformer with approved quality supper enamelled copper wire/ strip of approved make of suitable gauge and number of turns along with allied materials like cork sheet, fibre glass insulations, paper insulations, cotton/ Empire tap and tube wooden blocks bolts, nuts and washer (Brass) soldering and other packing material etc. all as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Top gasket made of 3mm thick cork sheet with suitable holes for 11/6.6/0.433 kV transformer of any type/capacity including providing suitable size of bolts, nuts and washer for transformer top cover complete for any capacity/size transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting electrically, open the cover of transformer any type/size and filtration and dehydration of Transformer oil for 11 / 6.6 / 0.433 kV transformers, with stream line mobile filtration plant (To be provided by contractor & quoted prices deemed to include its hire charges) at a temp from 60-75 degree celsius to achieve the dielectric strength of oil 60 KV or over at standard gap as per IS 335 of 1993 (Fourth revision) to remove the moisture from winding and core complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Filtration should be carried out in OFF position, therefore generator and cables will have to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (b) Test result will be recorded before and after filtration of oil and submitted to Engr-in-Charge in a prescribed manner.

M&L for Open the cover of transformer any type/size on site/ in workshop for rep & maint and filling in with new transformer oil low viscosity of approved make as per IS-335 of 1992 including heating of oil and die-electric strength 60 KV when tested at 4mm gap complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of temperature gauge circular dial type of standard size and dia suitable for indoor/outdoor type transformer upto 750 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of breather assembly with fresh silica gel for transformer of any make and cap upto 250 KVA at site complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 59.00 above but exceeding 250 KVA not exceeding 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing / Calibration to 11/6.6 kV HT VCB complete including the following:- (a) Taking out 11/6.6 kV HT VCB of 630/800/1250 Amps rating trolley from HT Panel after switching off electric supply. checking of mechanical system for proper functioning of upward / downward movement of HT VCB trolley including opening the VCB & checking the mechanical system. cleaning & servicing the fixed / moving contact & blowing out dust and applying the proper lubrication / greasing and reassembling the VCB / SF6 including connection to HT panel complete insulating oil to be replaced where reqd complete all as directed and specified. (b) Taking out relay set of any make from HT 11/6.6 kV VCB panel and cleaning the contact (NO+NC) by CTC solution and adjust the contact and calibrate the relay by relay testing kit & proper plug setting as per reqd load & time delay and fixing the relay set in HT panels complete all as specified and directed by EIC. (Note for (a) & (b):- (i) Replacing new items shall be measured and paid separately as supply only. Note : Minor spares if required shall deems to be included with the above job.

M&L for servicing by disconnecting of all electrical connecton of 11 KV LBS, checking of mechical system for proper functioning of LBS/RMUs, cleaning of moving contact, checking of gas required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note : Minor spares & gas re-fill/ topup shall deems to be included with the above job.

M&L for recharging/ refilling/ topup of gas suitable for 11 KV LBS/ RMU unit as recommended by respective OEM including any repair to leakage of gas and sealing the inlet/ outlet pressure nut boults to stop gas leakages complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting electrical for cleaning, rubbing of old paint and re-painting all surfaces of transformer of cap upto 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing in replacment of Power packs as per sample for back up time of VCBs/RMUs 110V DC for suitable working of relays with accessories and including connection with suitable size of copper control cable as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for display board with the information of electrical shocks, CPR process & other treatments chart related to electric shock, in size not less that 70X50cm duly frames with good quality fiber hardboard and fixeed to walls of substations complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacment of Vacuum interrupter for VCB HT 11 KV/ 1250 Amps (34599 M3+) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacment of copper busbar sleeves insulated with PVC insulation material of suitable size for Vacuum interrupter of VCB HT 11 KV/ 1250 Amps complete all as specified and directed.
