Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted. The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs. The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable. The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing kpp Portal. All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete. All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval. The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons. The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents Contractors Should be registered with KPWD as Class-IV& above Contractor and further orders thereon.

In the case of the death of the contractor after executing the agreement / commencement of the work, his legal heir, if is an eligible registered contractor and is willing can execute and compete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work. The tenderer should maintain the Road/Bridge/ Culvert/Building works during the defective liability period for 1 years. The successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given in clause 24.1 of ITT for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security deposit for unbalanced tenders in accordance with clause 24.3 of ITT and clause 44 of the conditions of contract for all works. Contractor should take all precautions to ensure that no damage is caused to any adjacent structures/utilities above or below the ground and also to the existing canal CD works and other similar structures which have been constructed by other agencies during project execution. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost. Damage to physical property and personal injury and death will be the personal risk of the contractor.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent. Formation levels and other data furnished are bare minimum the contractor should make all efforts to validate and to get additional data if required at his own cost. For SC & ST Contractors :- As per G.O.No.FD 876 EXP-12/2017, Bangalore Dt:10-10- 2017 Security Deposit for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price shall be deducted in every running bill. However, in case of 1st & Final bill the entire security deposit will be deducted from the final bill. (If applicable) Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD Division, Chickaballapur during office hours on all working days. Materials like bitumen or steel,cement etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work at their own cost.

All the items in the tender include all lead, lifts,loading unloading, transportation, labour, hire charges of machinery curing for concrete works, cost and convenience of all materials and all other such incidental charges necessary for successful completion of works as per the detalied technical specification and direction of Engineer - in charge of this work. Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act & the contractor should employ only registered labours as per Govt. Circular No. PWD/198/BMS/2009/ Dated: 24-06-2009, negative tenders for labour portion will be rejected. (If applicable) Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt. orders. As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund. The returns submitted to the I.T. along with the Profit and Loss account statement, Balance sheet should be uploaded for the financial turnover criteria attested by registered Chartered Accountant, along with UDIN else will be treated as invalid.

Participating agencies should compulsorily possess GST and PAN numbers. GST number should be valid and in force at the time of participation. As per Government circular no: FD 355 EXP-12/2024 dtd:01.08.2024, Letter of Intent (LoI) will be issued in Karnataka Public Procurement Portal 2.0 software, contractor has to accept LOI online and submit the BGs through KPP portal within 05days. if not, tender will be rejected as per Guidelines. .Roads shall be maintained for one year.
