SPECIAL REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION PIPELINES AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT FD REGT OTM ACCN AREA UNDER GE (WEST) FEROZEPUR CANTT

Excavating in trenches, in soft/loose soil, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, cables and pipes etc. not exceeding 10Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and as direcetd.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up 150mm bore cast iron watermains pipes (including all fittings),with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up 150mm bore HDPE/PVC watermains (including all fittings) complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up 100mm bore cast iron watermains pipes (including all fittings),with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up 100mm bore HDPE/PVC watermains (including all fittings) complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up 80mm bore HDPE/PVC watermains (including all fittings) complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up 80mm bore Galvanised Steel watermains (including all fittings),with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up existing 40/50mm bore galvanised steel water tubing, alongwith connections complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up or down 25mm bore galvanised steel water tubing, alongwith connections complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up or down 20mm bore galvanised steel water tubing, alongwith connections complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

Taking up 40/50mm bore old unserviceable gate valves complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up 25mm bore old unserviceable gate valves complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up 20mm bore old unserviceable gate valves complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay 150mm bore Centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron with spigot & socket end, class K-7 conforming to IS: 8329/2000 complete with (push-on) rubber gasket jointing and centrifugally applied inside cement mortar lining with portland slag cement as per IS: 455:1989 and external metallic zinc coating as per annex A of IS 8329 with finishing layer of Bitumen coating as per Annex C of IS: 8329. The standard lengths of the pipes are 5.50 meter (subject to tolerance as per clause 15.5.1 of IS: 8329:2000). Pursuant to clause 15.5.1 of IS8329, 10% of pipes in each size, may be supplied in shorter lengths, complete all as specified. Note:- Only Pipe along the centre line shall be measured and paid except fittings and accessories which shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items.)

Supply and lay 75mm outer diameter 3-layer PP-R random copolymer) concealed pipes SDR 7.4 (PN16) UV stabilized and antimicrobial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply with and including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings laid in trenches complete of size outer dia including all fittings complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Pipe line with fittings and accesories shall be measured overall as fixed along the centre line.)

All as per Item No. 18 here-in-before but 63mm outer diameter.

S&F in replacment 150mm bore Cast iron body sluice valve heavy duty class ‘PN-1.6’, ISI marked with confirming to IS-14846-2000, both flanged ends and drilled, high tensile stainless steel spindle, Cast Iron gate with brass ring, non rising type, cast iron wheel handle, cast iron cap, complete with 3mm thick neoprene rubber gasket joint and nuts, bolts (high tensile), washers etc, and testing, including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable sluice valve, complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate items of this Schedule/BoQ. CI/DI fittings shall be measured and paid for separately

M&L for cutting existing road straight by manual, depth and width not less than 45cm for pipes upto 150 mm dia & filling back with excavated soil upto 75% road portion & 25% shall be made with cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed

Construction of Valve Pit of size 750x750x750mm (internal dimensions) , excavation and earth work in any type of soil and strata,100mm thick lean concrete PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate for foundation, and 460mm thick brick masonry wall built in cement mortar (1:4) using sub class "B" old size well burnt bricks , 15mm thick internal and external plaster in cement mortar (1:4) upto15cm below ground level mixted with water proofing compound, 3.15mm thick MS sheet cover with angle iron frame of size 40x40x6mm to be fitted in and around 50x50x6mm mild steel angle iron frame with 50X6mm flat iron hold fasts embedded in PCC Coping (1:2:4) type B-1 of 150mm depth and width equal to thickness of wall including locking arrangement with necessary fixing materials like hinges, nuts and bolts etc (valve chamber cover shall be opened in two halves) and painting to MS cover with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint and two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer etc all as specified and all as shown in Drawing No.1060/08 Sheet No. 1/3 to 3/3 dated 01.05.2008.

M&L for Ductile Iron fittings ISI marked for spigog and socketed pipe upto 300mm bore such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs, specials, complete all as specified and directed.
