Taking up or down existing GI tubing and connections including removal for the following size of pipes complete all as specified and directed :-

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep in any type of soil for foundation, laying pipe etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soft/loose soil including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (Soils) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, laying & jointing galvanised iron water tubes 'medium grade' with and including all GI fittings such as flanges, unions, reducer sockets, socket reducing bends, elbows, tee, check nuts, caps, plugs etc.and clips, wall hooks etc. laid in trenches, on ground or fixing on wall and testing complete all as specified and directed of the following sizes: -

Supply, laying and testing of centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipe Class K-7 with spigot and socket end pipes suitable for tyton joints duly applied with zinc coating with finishing layer of bitumen on external surfaces and cement mortar lining with bituminous seal coat on internal surfaces complete confirming to IS-8329 (2000) including EPDM gaskets, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in Charge of following sizes :-

M&L for cutting existing road /floor/plinth of any desription of width not exceeding 750 mm and depth not exceeding 0.45m, including necessary earth work excavation up to 1.0M depth and refilling the same after completion and making good the disturbed road surface with cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair gun metal gate or glob valve with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe with necessary GI fittings and testing complete including taking out old all as specified and directed of following sizes:-

M&L for fixing in repair brass check nut as per existing size including opening head portion of the valve and refixing the same complete suitable for CI Sluice Valve of following sizes :-

S&F in repair butterfly valves gear operated epoxy coated cast iron body, PN 1.6, ISI marked SGI disc with integral seat of nitrle rubber including taking out old, of the following sizes:-

S&F air release valve 40 mm double action with two air outlets , ISI marked including jointing materials such as flanges, nuts, bolts, washers, rubber gasket and fixing up in cast iron pipe of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rectification of leakages to water supply distribution lines 15 mm to 25 mm dia GI tubing by carrying out necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil , returning / filling, removing and dewatering as required ,tightening of loose joints including provision of GI fittings like union, sockets , nipple, elbow etc. as required , threading where required compete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No 21.00 above but for GI tubing of size 40 mm to 50 mm dia.

All as per Item No 21.00 above but for GI tubing of size 80 mm to 100 mm dia.

Note for item No 21.00, 22.00 & 23.00: 1. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of earth work eacavation in any type of soil 2. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of necessary GI fittings and flanges, Sockets,clamps etc. as required and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on this account. 3. GI Pipe of lenght above 01 Meter for rectification of complaints shall be measured and paid seperately under the relevant items .

M&L for attending breakdown of water supply pipe line and repairs to CI water mains of size 80 mm to 200 mm dia including neceassary earth work excavation in any type of soil by using necessary tools and plants such as JCB etc. or equivalent manpower ,by dewatering from the trenches by using motar/pumps etc. rectification of leakages if any, rectify the same by cocking of lead wool, or replacement of run lead joints or replacement of CI Specials or broken pipes etc.

All as per Item No 25.00 above but CI water mains of size 250mm to 400mm dia .

Note for Item No 25.00 & 26.00 :- (a) The CI Specials, Lead joints, cutting of CI pipes etc. shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ/Schdule 'A' (b) The quoted rate shall inclusive of necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil and making good the damaged road surface as per existing and nothing extra shall be paid and admissible (c) Complaints shall be attended and completed immeditely within 12 hours of initiation by Department by deploying requried Tradesman, tools and plant, materials as requried at site.

M&L for construction of valve chamber in replacement 1200 x 1200 x 1200 mm (internal dimensions), 6 mm thick MS sheet cover with 2 Nos MS hinges welded to angle iron frame of 40x40x6mm thick with lifting hook and locking arrangement complete with necessary earth work, brick work in cement mortar (1:6), PCC bed (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) 150 mm thick, cement plastering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer to the steel surfaces including dismantling and removal of old unserviceble valve pit complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 28.00 above but of size 900 x 900 x 900 mm (internal dimension)

M&L for Rubber gasket Joint (Tyton Joints) suitable for DI pipe ofsize upto 300 mm dia bore NOTE : The quoted rates for jointing of spigot and socket pipe and fittings include for provision of EPDM gaskets of appropriate size complete all as specified and directed.
