Earthwork excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) or manual means for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, all kinds of foundation etc., in all types of soil like hard gravelly soil, sandy soil for the following depth from average ground level up to the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, leveling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and leveled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of soil with depth up to 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 50 meters.

All kinds of soft rock with depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 50 metres.

Earthwork excavation for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, and all kinds of foundation etc., in hard rock (by chiseling) for the following depth from average ground level up to the required line, level and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, leveling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and leveled) with an lead specified below and stacking the hard rock boulders in a neatly leveled ground for measurement to departmental gauge all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of hard rock with depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth up to a lead of 50 metres.

Filling with selected excavated earth available at site up to a lead of 200m, filling in layer of not more than 150mm thickness, each layer well rammed and consolidated by hand/earth rammer including excavation of dumped earth, hire charges of rammer, water consolidation, leveling to proper gradient, dressing the top surface to the required level, complying with specification and all as directed by the Engineer.

Supplying and filling the selected earth from outside of DAE installation (with a lead of 28 kilometers), including excavation from borrow pits if any required, filling in layer of not more than 150mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated by mechanical roller including water consolidation etc., leveling, dressing the top surface to the required level, complying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Proper Trip sheet records shall be maintained for bringing the earth through DAE main gate with security stamp duly signed by Departmental Engineer.

Leveling the area to the required gradient in all types of soil including cutting the mounds wherever required, for filling the low lying area in layers not more than 150mm thickness, each layer well rammed and consolidated by hand/mechanical roller including ramming, consolidation, leveling to proper gradient, dressing the top surface to the required level, conveying the surplus excavated soil by head load up to a lead of 200m, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6 using 40mm maximum size graded aggregates including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, leveling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for leveling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications.

Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.

Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 'SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make' and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.
