PART-I : ROAD FROM BLDG NO. A/10/60 TO MAIN ROAD AND MT SECTION OF ENGR REGT

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm depth exc 50mm and depth n. exc 100mm deep (Scarifying include racking over and grading the broken up surface to the proper camber etc. as required) and rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in filling by power roller exc 8 tonne & n exc 12 tonne capacity to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 135.50 (Part-I) + 100.00 (Part-II) + 162.00 (Part-III) = 397.50]

M&L preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying total 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM laid in two layers of 75 mm each, grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerance as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Raod and Bridge Works, 2013. [Note : (i) Materials of WMM will be exclusively manufactured from Calibrated WMM Plant. Calibration Certificate shall be produced before starting of work. (ii) Ratio of WMM aggregates shall be approved by GE before execution of work. (iii) Stack measurement of WMM material shall be entered in MB as "Not to be abstracted".] [Total Qty : 135.50 (Part-I) + 100.00 (Part-II) = 235.50]

Preparing of surfaces of unsurfaced Water Mix Macadam (WMM) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and M&L & applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1.0 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH Specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 135.50 (Part-I) + 100.00 (Part-II) + 162.00 (Part-III) = 397.50]

M&L premixed bituminous macadam over primed surface of road using paving bitumen VG-30, laid/rolled by 8 to 12 tonne capacity roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less including preparation of area before laying Macadam with mechanical paver), binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix (Design Mix), complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of bituminous macadam by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, Bitumen Extraction Report, Road Roller Register & Calibration Report. (iv) Exact qty of binder to be used shall be ascertain by design mix. (v) Minimum 4% of binder shall be used. However, in case more than 4% of binder content is required as per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to the dept.] [Total Qty : 101.63 (Part-I) + 75.00 (Part-II) + 122.00 (Part-III) = 298.63]

M&L applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intermate homogeneous mixture of mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate, industrial grade 85/25 bitumen meeting the requirement given in Table as mentioned in SSR Part-I, grade of bitumen as per IS : 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of wooden float laid, bitumen mastic after spreading and while still hot in plastic condition shall spread over with bituminous precoated fine aggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per 10 Sqm of bitumen grade 85/25 Industrial grade for anti skidding including all material, labour, tools and plants and including over tack coat of VG-10 grade bitumen conforming to IS : 73 @ 0.3 - 0.4 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH Specification for Road & Bridge Works 2013 using mechanical sprayer over prepared base, as per Design mix IRC 107-2013, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of mastic asphalt by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, bitumen extraction report & calibration report.] [Total Qty : 135.50 (Part-I) + 100.00 (Part-II) + 162.00 (Part-III) = 397.50]

Excavating over areas, n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soils, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 203.40 (Part-I) + 156.00 (Part-II) = 359.40]

M&L total 300 mm thick (in 3 layer of 100 mm thick each) Kankar or laterite, with mix of fly ash, clinker & stone dust in the proportion of 1:3:6 (i.e. 10% fly ash, 30% clinker & 60% stone dust) laying in layers n.exc 30cm thick in each layer, watering, ramming and compacted with vibratory / power roller of 8 to 12 tonne to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 127.80 (Part-I) + 15.60 (Part-II) = 143.40]

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road by cleaning and preparing the road surface and making good the road marking location and marking / applying 2.5mm thick white or golden yellow reflective hot thermoplastic road marking paint (Hot application) for centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine through modern propelled road marking machine in a layer all as per manufacturers instruction and use of all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, interfiller thermoplastic required for glass beads per sqm by incorporating the white beads for reflectivity in 100 mm width, complete all as specified and directed. M&L 100mm thick Plain Cement Concrete type C2, 1:3:6 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base of flooring, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 300.00 (Part-I) + 300.00 (Part-II) = 600.00]

Removing of excavated materials to a distance exc 250m but n.exc 500m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 203.40 (Part-I) + 238.00 (Part-II) = 441.40]

PART-II : ROAD FROM PUF SHELTER NO. 80 TO MAIN ROAD OF UNIT AREA AT ENGR REGT [Note : All Items are clubbed up with Sch 'A' Part-I Item No. 1.01 to 1.17 except below.]

S&F in repairs metal retro-reflective Tubular Delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 1010 mm height above GL duly powder coated (minimum 40 micron) and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including supply and providing of embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 x 150 x 300mm) type B1, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : Delineators shall be made from Class-I retro-reflective sheets in accordance with as per 1748.]

S&F in repairs for Cat Eye pavement marker two way reflective of minimum size 110mm x 120mm x 24 mm with aluminium alloy body with micro prismatic lens type technology with reflective lens to be fixed epoxy resin adhesive after cleaning the surface and reflective panels Amber/Red/White the help adhesive and screws, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 52.00 (Part-II) + 33.00 (Part-III) = 85.00]

Excavating in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. n.exc 10sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed. [Total Qty : 92.00 (Part-II) + 68.00 (Part-III) = 160.00]

M&L Soling with 150mm spread thickness (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity and considered to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L total 15cm thick (in two layers 7.5cm each) (compacted thickness) WBM, with crushed stone aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm) granite, trap or Basalt spread rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : Stack measurement of coarse material of WBM shall be entered in MB as "Not to be abstracted".]

M&L 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with crushed stone aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm) granite, trap or Basalt spread rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : Stack measurement of coarse material of WBM shall be entered in MB as "Not to be abstracted".]

M&L Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. spread thickness 75 mm thick, spreading and rolling including watering with vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : Stack measurement of moorum / red bajri shall be entered in MB as "Not to be abstracted".]

Removing excavated material (Soils) n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
