Taking down carefully centrifugal pump set 75 HP by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, inlet, delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on load for smooth operation,complete all as specified and as directed. The job includes strip opening of pump and motor, replacement of defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on load, complete all as specified and as directed. Taking down from the foundation for 10 HP Air blower unit after unscrewing nut, bolt washer, strip opening the blower unit for servicing and replacement of gear box, re-assembling, refilling of gear oil and testing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F as in replacement pressure gauge, analog type with circular dia of 150 mm with reading capacity upto 2.5 kg/sqcm for fixing on inlet sewage well pipes for checking inlet sewage pressure complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of Grit chamber (chamber collecting sewage water directly after pumping) along with regular preventive maintenance of conveyor belt with whole gear mechanism by regular oiling, greasing, any welding work etc. Note : Cost of any minor spare parts used in regular cleaning/maintenance of above item shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Neccesary safety equipments and tools required to the job will be provided by the contractor, safety of labour shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor.

Supply and fixing as in replacement Sprocket for conveyor belt gear mechanism of suitable size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing as in replacement Conveyor belt of rubber material of suitable size complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down gate valve of sizes from 100 mm to 250 mm for and including preventive maintenance including regular oiling, greasing and minor repairs with servicing and refixing the same and checking for smooth function complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cost of any minor spare parts used in regular maintenance of above item shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for cleaning of MBBR Tank by draining the sludge/water by emptying tank and scraping out the dirt from the walls and floor of the tank manually or using mechanised system along with changing media 30% of exixting as directed by Engr-in-Charge and washing with clear water complete all as per directed. Note : Neccesary safety equipments and T&P required to the job will be provided by the contractor, safety of labour shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor.

M&L for cleaning of secondary clari-floculator Tank by draining all of water from the tank and removing dirt, algae from the walls and floor of the tank manually or using mechanised system along oiling and greasing of mechanical parts also painting the entire tank with anti-corrosive paint all as directed by Engr -in-Charge Note : Cost of any minor spare parts used in regular cleaning/maintenance of above item shall deemed to be included in the quoted cost. Neccesary safety equipments and T&P required to the job will be provided by the contractor, safety of labour shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor.

Taking down butterfly valve of size 180/200 mm dia and servicing, oiling and greasing the entire valve and refixing the same at original position complete all as specified and directed. Note : Any minor spare parts used in regular servicing of above item shall deemed to be included in the quoted cost.

M & L for removal of existing unserviceable filter media from filter bed of size 6 mtr (L) x 4 mtr (W) x 3 mtr (D) of filtration plant and disposal of unserviceable media/material from each filter bed to a designated place, distance not exceeding 50 mtr including, cleaning and disinfection of entire internal surface of the filter bed using a suitable cleaning agent/bleaching powder, scrubbing the side walls to remove any form of deposit using a wire brush and including laying and leveling filter media complete all as specified and directed.

Note : (a) Only one number of Rapid Gravity Filter Bed is to be taken for overhauling at a time and the same shall be carried out as per instruction and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Prior to starting of overhauling of a filter bed, the required materials for overhauling shall be made available at site. (c) Entire materials labour, Engineer, supervisor, plant & tools required for executing the work and for safety of persons deployed on the work shall be contractor’s arrangement and responsibility. (d) During dismantling, a joint inspection will be carried out by Engineer-in-Charge with contractor and the detail of the filter media layers will be drawn. The new filter media layers are to be placed as per the details drawn during the joint visit. (e) Filter media shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items here-in-after under Ser item No 61 to 65. Cost of laying and levelling for filter media shall deemd to be included in quoted rates of item No 60.

Supply and filling of filter media comprising of graded gravel of particle size 20 mm-25 mm, in accordance with IS: 8419 Part-I, hard and preferably rounded with specific gravity not less than 2.5, free from clay, sand, loam and organic impurities of any kind, Filter gravel shall not contain more than 2 percent by mass of thin, flat or elongated pieces (in which the largest dimension exceeds three times the smallest dimension) determined by hand picking. Gravel should be free from excessive amount of limestone or shells and acid solubility determined in accordance with procedure given in Appendix B of IS: 8419 (Part-I)-1977 and should be within limits as specified in IS (not more than 10.00 % for gravel sizes 10mm or larger and 5.00% solubility for gravel sizes smaller than 10mm) complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and filling filter media comprising of filter sand consist of hard, durable grains of silica of particle size 1 mm - 2 mm, in accordance with IS: 8419 Part-I, specific gravity not less than 2.5, uniformity coefficient less than 1.5, All grains of sand shall preferably be water worn. Silica content tested in accordance with IS: 2000, any sample of filter sand shall not contain more than 5 percent by volume of impurities, such as clay, loam, silt etc. in one hour settlement after shaking in water in accordance with procedure described in IS: 8419 (Part-I)-1977. The sand shall not contain more than 5 percent of acid soluble matter as determined by solubility test described in IS. The loss on ignition, which is a measure of the organic matter present in sand, and determined by the procedure given in Appendix C of in IS, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and filling filter media comprising of crushed coconut powder with activated carbon for water treatment, in accordance with relevant IS, specific gravity not less than 35. Any sample of crushed coconut powder shall not contain more than 5 percent by volume of impurities, such as moisture, clay, loam, silt, Loss in Ignition not more than 0.70 %, Acid solubility not more than 5.00 %, Particle size 1 mm - 2 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of sludge thickener Tank by draining all of waste water from the tank and removing dirt, algae from the walls and floor of the tank manually or using mechanised system along with oiling and greasing of mechanical parts and painting the entire tank with anti-corrosive paint all as directed by Engr -in-Charge Note :- Cost of any minor spare parts used in regular cleaning/maintenance of above item shall deemed to be included in the quoted cost. Neccesary safety equipments and T&P required to the job will be provided by the contractor, safety of labour shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor.
