Providing and laying bitumen mastic wearing course (as per specifications) with industrial bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS : 702 prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of approved size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at approximate spacing of 10cm centre to centre in both directions, pressed into surface protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface, including cleaning the surface, removal of debris etc. all complete. (Considering bitumen using 10.2% as per MORTH specification) 25 mm thick
(b) Railway Portion Non Schedule Items Providing and laying RCC of specified grade(Precast) as per approved plan and mix design with coarse sand and stone aggregate of 20 mm & down gauge in Box Segments and Base Slabs for all heights and depth including compaction of concrete by electrical / mechanical vibrator , providing and using Admixture in recommended portion as per IS-456, IRC-112 & IS-9103, concrete bridge code applicabe as per approved mix design complying with minimum cement content , maximum water cement ratio and slump as specified, produced by RMC plant/automatic computerized batching plant and placed using concrete pump including designing of concrete mix, finishing the exposed surface of concrete, curing of concrete as required in IRC-112/IRC-CBC/IS codes as applicable, including all lead by transit mixer ( Crossing of stream, nallahs, railway tracks, level crossings or any other obstruction such as traffic jam whatsoever), lift, pumping, ascend, descend, loading, unloading, handling, wastege if any, cost of all safety works and safetyprecautions with all labour, unloading, handling, wastage if any , cost of all safety works and safety precautions with all labour,arrangements for cold weather and hot weather concrete as applicable, taxes and royalty as a complete job as per specification and as per directions of Engineer in charge. Nothing extra will be paid on any account. The rate will also included cost of OPC Cement and Admixture ( Plasticizer, super plasticizer or retarder etc) as per approved mix design. NOTE- 1-Payment of reinforcement steel including cutting, straightening, hooking, bending, binding, uncoiling & placing in position including cost of binding wire and shuttering shall be paid extra under relevant item of USOR-2010. 2-Mode of payment – On successful casting & testing of RCC segments, 70 % of payment against this item will be released. 3-25% payment will be released after successful placement of precast RCC segments. 4-Balance 5% of payment will be released after commissioning of RUB. Placement of precast RCC segmental box with the help of Road cranes at desired location, carefully by lifting & packing method, during block & power block with all contractor labour, tools & materials, crane, machineries, preparation of surface as directed by Engineer including filling of joints by epoxy mortar & laying of required sand including all materials & labour, tools, plants, machineries etc. with all lead & lift. If during the placement any segment is damaged, the cost shall be borne by the contractor. NOTE – No. of cranes and T&P for placing as per clause 24.7 . No seprate or extra payment for cranes and T & P will be made and item No. 2 shall be inclusive of all machinery & plant, crane charges etc. (1Cum=2.5 MT)
Dismantling of existing track including any type of rails, check rails, any type of sleepers with all fittings etc. complete as per direction of site in charge including all labour, T&P, stacking of released materials at site, all leading, lifting to any height/depth, all loading unloading crossing of track, nallah, drain incidental works, etc. complete with manual/mechanical method. The rate will be complete item rate so nothing extra will be paid to contractor on this account except accepted rate.
Removing existing ballast from track and stacking at site, putting the same after screening in track after completion of the work with all katchs/pucca packing as per direction of site engineercomplete including all labour, T & P, leading,lifting to any height/depth, all loading, unloading, incidental works etc., complete with manua/mechanical method. The rate will be complete item rate so nothing extra will bepaid to the contractor on this account except the accepted rate.
Laying/linking of track with any type of rails and sleepers in required density with fitting & fastening with all packing for making fit for normal speed as per P. Way track manual, leveling, gauging, oiling etc complete as per direction of site engineer including, all labour, T&Ps, leading lifting to any height/depth, all loading, unloading, incidental works etc complete with manula/mechanical method. The rate will be complete item rate so nothing extra will be paid to contractor, on this account except the accepted rate.
Providing lighting arrangement during "block" in the night to be availed after sun set. In the section during working on hiring basis with contractor's own generator of minimum 8 KV capacity and 10 helogen lamps of 500 watts operations and maintenance of generator and halogen lamps. The payment shall be made for the night only for which SSE/P.Way/works and JE/PWay/Works gives requirement. Standby arrangements has to be ensured by the contractor for any possible failure as block may burst on this account. The item shall be complete in all respects including cost of labour, material tools plant transportation misc. and incidental works related to the job. Nothing extra will be paid on any account.
Providing and laying in position reinforced cement concrete of M35 grade cast in situ as per approved plan and mix design with coarse sand and stone aggregate of 20mm and down gauge in RCC Box in all height and depth upto 5.00 metre (bigger inside dimension). The rate will also include cost of OPC Cement and admixture (Plasticizer, super Plasticizer or retarder etc) as per approved mix design. Note:- Payment of reinforcement steel including cutting, straightening, hooking, bending, binding,uncoiling and placing in position including cost of binding wire and shutteringshall be arranged by contractor and payment shall be paid extra under relevant items of USOR-2010.
Cutting of all types of rails section (New/SS) on running/non-running lines with hacksaw blade (by manual or machines) vertically squares and smooth face for linking of track as directed by engineer in charge as a complete job. (The contractor will arrange all type of T&P/consumable materials required for cutting of rails at his own cost) including handling re-handling of rails. The rails shall be taken from stacks anywhere in station yards and in block section and will be cut in standard length/pairing as specified by Engineer at site. All cut pieces will be deposited & properly stacked in the store of PWI concerned at site of work or nominated place within Rly. Limit as a complete job as per direction of site in charge.
Drilling holes of 32 mm/28 mm/26.5 mm dia. and chamfering in 52 Kg/60 Kg/90 R rails including arrangements of all tools and plants, consumable material etc. at contractor's own cost including lead, lifts, placing, handling re-hanling as required or as directed by the engineer incharge at site as a complete job with all labour & material and T&P involved as a complete job.
Two rounds of through packing doing all operations of systematic through packing for BG track with 52 Kg/60 Kg/990R/20 rail penal/3 rail panels/single rail/LWR rails on PRC/Wooden/Metal sleepers etc. with any type of track structure including boxing & dressing of ballast provided for cushion 200 mm/250 mm/300 mm and stipulated profile for LWR/SWR/Single rail including on curve as per IRPWM/LWR manual as directed by Engineer in charge including 1st & 2nd packing at required interval, squaring of sleepers ensuring correct spacing gauge, alignment, longitudinal & cross level with boxing etc. complete to bring the track to required tolerances so as to make the track fit at MSS of the section including all lead, lift, handling rehandling etc. of track, points & xings or on newly laid track as a complete job. NOTE:- Payment schedule will be as under 1 – 40% payment will be made of completion of 1st through packing 2 – 40% payment will be made after picking up slacks & maintaining the track in good geometry after 2nd through packing 3 – 20% payment shall be released after one month including rectifying all the defects as instructed by Engineer in charge
De-stressing of newly & track/old tracks at appropriate temperatures as per LWR manual and as per the direction of engineer incharge at site including all labour equipments such as distressing tensors thermometers etc. as a complete job including squaring, correct spacing of sleepers etc. Adjustment of correct clearance at toe of SEJs including changing of rails if required. NOTE (i) Railways will supply tensors and thermometers. Cutting and Drilling of holes in rails shall be paid separately under relevant NS item.
Providing and laying in position reinforced cement concrete of M35 grade cast in situ as per approved plan and mix design with coarse sand and stone aggregate of 20mm and down gauge in anti-crash barrier, road kerb/ beams/ railing cast in situ, RCC in foot path for all heights and depths including compaction of concrete by electrical/mechanical vibrator, providing and using admixture in recommended proportion as per IS 456, IRC-112, IS-9103 & concrete bridge code applicable as per approved mix design with minimum cement content, maximum water cement ratio and slump as specified in special conditions produced by RMC plant/automatic computerized/electronic batching plant and placed using concrete pump including designing of concrete mix, finishing the exposed surface of concrete, curing of concrete as required in IRC-112, including all lead by transit mixer (crossing of stream, nallahs, railway tracks, level crossings or any other obstruction such as traffic jam etc.), lift, pumping, ascend, descend, loading, unloading, handling, rehandling of material at all height including all incidental works, fixing of ducts or any fixer etc wastages if any, cost of all safety works and safety precautions with all labour, arrangements for cold weather and hot weather concreting as applicable, taxes and royalty etc. as a complete job as per specifications and directions of engineer in charge. Nothing extra will be paid on any account. The rate will also include cost of OPC cement, admixture (plasticizer, super plasticizer, or retarder etc.) as per approved mix design. Payment of reinforcement steel including cutting, straightening, hooking, bending, binding, placing and keeping and maintaining in position including cost of binding wire and shuttering will be arranged by contractor and payment will be made separately under relevant items of USOR-2010). Work will be executed as per Indian Railway Unified standard specifications applicable for RCC/PSC works contained in chapter 4 & 20.
