CERTAIN REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO ROOF AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT OTM AND MD ACCN AT KALINA AND JUHU UNDER GE (N) SANTACRUZ MUMBAI

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for & removing clear off site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out, in any type of soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rolled mild steel sections as in roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails, and fastenings and heavy bracket framing, (beam, tee, angle, channels or flat sections) including notching, drilling, fitting, riveting and / or welding or connecting with bolts and nuts (including rivets or bolts and nuts) conforming to Fe 410 W Gde E- 250, Quality B complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of un-framed timber scantlings 40 sqcm and over in section, in any position all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix plain solid straight scantling as in purlin, second class hardwood, wrought, framed, rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue, pinned at joints complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cutting holes in brick walls for inserting angle iron trusses/ rafters, depth of embedded portion measured from the face of the jamb into the wall, exc one brick but n exc two bricks and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 (Nominal mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregates as in coping or bed block of angle iron swn neck post at security wall and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed including necessary form work for fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Dismantling Asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated, etc.) sheets in roof coverings including ridges & removing clear off site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix Pre- painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick as per approved profile of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws or L type or J type or cranked hook bolts or as per manufacture instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
