REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY GI/CI/DI LINES, CONTROL VALVES, PUMP, MOTORS, CLEANING OF OHT/UG SUMPS AND ALLIED E/M WORKS AT MIL STN BHUSAWAL UNDER GE(SOUTH) AHILYANAGAR

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide and not exc 1.50 m deep for foundation, laying of pipe or for shafts, wells cesspits,man holes etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling, in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing the excavated material (soil) upto a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. Note : Removal qty of item No 36 included in this item.

Taking up or down unserviceable CI/DI water mains 150 mm bore including all fittings complete from trenches complete all as specified and as directed

Supply, laying, jointing and testing in replacement ductile iron pipes of 150 mm bore with spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast, class -K 7, conforming to IS 8329 in any length, laid in trenches/ pipe support etc, pressure testing after laying complete as per IS- 12288 including styrene butadiene rubber gasket joints complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- 1) Tyton joints required are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. 2) The contractor shall execute the work without disturbing the existing pipe line. Old U/S pipe line shall be removed by the contractor after successful execution of work. 3) Due care shall be taken by the contractor to avoid disruption of existing electric / water / tele communication lines. Please note that any damage caused shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost.

S&F steel water tubing, galvanised, 50 mm bore, medium grade in any length, including necessary fittings, fixed complete to wall and ceiling or laid in trench, floors etc including jointing, testing and connections including taking down old rusted and unserviceable GI water tubing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured separately.

S&F in repairs 50mm dia gun metal gate valve, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe or unions and fixed to pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F sluice valve, cast iron, 150 mm dia, long body, both ends flanged as per IS-14846 and drilled with stainless steel spindle, iron wheel head and as per pressure rating PN-1.6 (Class-I) ISI marked alongwith with nut,bolt and washers and rubber gaskets etc and fixed in position including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable sluice valve from valve chamber/ trenches etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F cast iron reflux valve (Non Return Valve) of size 150 mm bore, flanged type of pressure rating PN 1.6, ISI marked alongwith nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets etc, fixed in position including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable sluice valve from valve chamber/trenches etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F cast iron foot valve, 150 mm dia, flanged end swing type, ISI marked with neoprin rubber ball, ISI marked alongwith nuts, botls, washers, gasket etc including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable foot valve from valve chamber/trenches etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of sedimentation tank of size 6.5m x 6.0m x 8.0m as under :- (a) Pumping & draining out the water from sedimentation tank, removing of sludge and depositing the same at a distance exceeding 500 m and not exceeding 1000 m (b) Cleaning all the inner surfaces including floor,channel, wall surface etc by removing moss, dirt and all stuck materials and cleaning by coir/wire and bleaching powder solution complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Repair of damaged plaster surfaces shall be measured and paid separately.

Cleaning of settling tank of size 6m x 6m x 7m as under :- (a) Pumping & draining out the water from settling tank, removing of sludge and depositing the same at a distance exceeding 50 m and not exceeding 100 mm (b) Cleaning all the inner surfaces including floor,channel, wall surfaces etc by removing moss, dirt and all stuck materials and cleaning by coir/wire and bleaching powder solution, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Repair of damaged plaster surfaces shall be measured and paid separately.

Cleaning, taking out, removing of any type of accumulated mud, silt, vegetation growth or any solid particles etc.from bottom surface and inner walls of under ground sump of capacity 100000 gallons with following stages :- a) Stage 1 : Draining out of remaining water after emptying through washout valves from the bottom of tank/sumps using submersible discharge pumps. b) Stage 2 : Cleaning of wall, ceiling and floor of tank/sump by using high pressure water jet having a requisite pressure rating to remove all the traces of any algea, moss or dirt etc. c) Stage 3 : Draining out of mud water with suction sludge pump. d) Stage 4 : Sucking out left over mud and dirty throughly with industrial vacuum cleaner to make the tank/sump clean and dry. e) Stage 5 : Spraying of antibacterial sterilising agents on inner wall, floors, ceiling and finally sealing the tank complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description, on brick or stone walls, etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work /concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces or previously untreated wall surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting of electric and mechanical connection like electric cable and delivery pipe, coupling connection etc and dismantling of pump and motor assembly from chassis and removing the DSM 100/36 high lift/Low lift pump to workshop for repair complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the impellers, neck rings, gland sleeve, gland check nut, bearing housing coupling, cooling fan, bearing end plate etc and preparation of bearing seat surfaces, remantling the same incl matching to the original size and reassembly after replacing of unserviceable spares complete incl using new stainless steel nuts, testing on completion of the DSM 100/36 high lift/low lift pump and delivery to working place and installing complete all as specified and directed. Note : Spares shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Disconnecting of electrical connection, taking out from foundation and delivery, suction pipes, connections, taking out of centrifugal horizontal 75 HP electric motor and removing the motor to workshop for repair and dismantling of electric motor and taking out motor shaft, filling of metal at decayed portions including all welding turning and other machine works required shape and the burnt windings, cleaning and washing of slots and rewinding the same with enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge and quantity (as per original/manufacturer design) including replacement of all damaged parts, including insulating materials such as insulating sheets insulating paper (class ''F'' Make:EUROTHERM or as approved by GE) insulating heat resistant sleeves, sealing compounds varnish etc and reassembling the motor and re-installing and reconnecting the suction and delivery pipes and electric connections of the same after completion of repair. Note:- Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Cleaning of river channel 1 meter wide in Tapti river to be cleaned by means of removing stones/ mud /sand/ sludge and other material to divert the river water flow towards water suction point upto entire satisfaction of EIC. Note :- (i) T & P for removal and cutting of stone will be provided by contractor. (ii) The measurement shall be for rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out complete. (iii) Removal shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items

Supply only Alumino Ferric grade-4, ISI marked conforming to IS 299/2012, for purification of water containing lead (as Pb) 20 PPM max and Arsenic (As2 03) 4 PPM max complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Test certificate shall be produced alongwith purchase voucher.

Supply only bleaching powder, ISI marked grade-1 (Bag of 25 Kg each or as approved by GE) for chlorination of filter water as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Calcium Hypochlorite granular, ISI marked (45 Kg plastic drum each) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only 1 st quality grease for movable parts, bearings,pump lifting system and as require all as specified and as directed.

Dismantaling damaged and broken valve chamber of size 300 mm x 300 mm x 600 mm (Internal dimensions), including unserviceable rusted MS cover complete without distrubing the existing pipe lines, valves and constructing new valve chamber of same size including necessary earthwork, earth work in any type of soil , PCC 1:3:6 in base concrete 100 mm thick , brick work built in cement mortar (1:6) with 10 mm thick plaster internally and 15 mm thick externally in cement mortar (1:4), 6 mm thick MS sheet cover with hinges and locking arrangements fixed to angle iron frame made out of 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm MS angle complete with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide on all steel work, painting all the embedded portion of mild steel with two coats of black bituminous paint and three coats of white washing on plastered surface of valve chamber complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of Sand Filter Bed including following oparations;- (a) Draining out water from filter bed sumps and removal of old filter media of different sizes from filter bed sumps carefully and depositing the same at low laying areas at a distance exceeding 500 m and not exceeding 1000 m. (b) Cleaning all the inner surfaces including floor of filter bed sumps, channel, walls etc, by removing moss, algae, dirt and all stuck materials including removing of sludges/scales and depositing at a distance exceeding 500 mtr and not exceeding 1000 mtr and cleaning surfaces by coir/wire brush and then by using mixture of water and bleaching powder solution. (c) Cleaning back wash nozzles including removal of dust/dirt/mud from nozzle performations carefully without damaging the nozzles. (d) Preparation of back wash compressor piping of any bore 50 mtr and 42 mtr long, previously painted with redoxide primer and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint. (e) Back washing and draining the filter bed sumps with water not less than three times complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & laying filter media of following sizes and quantities in layers complete all as specified :- (a) 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm, 3.5 Cum. Dundrwurny layer coarse sand. (b) 2.5 to 6.25 mm,, 1.75 Cum.subsequent layer to (a) above gravel. (c ) 6.25 mm to 20 mm, 1.74 Cum. subsequant layer to (b) above gravel. (d) 20 mm to 40 mm, 2 Cum subsequant layer to (c) above gravel, Make Husengabad sand media. (e) supply and fix in repairs back wash nozzle brass of sand filter bed-25 Nos.all as specified and as directed by EIC.

M & L for earthing complete at pump house area with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm x600 mm x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less then 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less then 1.50 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth 32mm x 6 mm GI strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers complete up to and including test point made out of 40 x 6mm aluminium flat including earthing pit, charcoal, common salt 25mm dia medium grade GI watering pipe, PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, PCC pit cover including earth work complete all as shown in electrical plate No-3 of SSR-2009 (Part-I) and as directed.
