Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr in width and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of cables up to proper level and laying of pipelines etc in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material (soil) from excavation to a distence not exc 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 meter above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment.

Material and labour for well burnt class ‘B’ bricks as mechanical protection to under ground cables laying with length of the bricks equal to the width of the trench, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick ,complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD land. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Supply of pipe shall be measured and paid separately (v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Disconnecting of burnt/ damaged cables from panels/ junction boxes etc, cutting out the burnt out ends, making new end joints by supply and fixing new aluminium lugs/ insulation tape etc and reconnecting using new nuts/ bolts/ washer etc and restoring three phase and neutral in the junction box, complete all as specified and as directed for the cable size from 50 Sqmm to 95 Sq mm 3.5 core of LT underground armoured cables. Note :- Earth work required for extending the incoming/ outgoing cable in junction box/ panel board etc shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 95 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 70 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 50 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in repair GI pipe light grade for cable protection of size 80 mm bore with fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in repair for making straight through joint with suitable jointing kit consisting of water proof adhesives for UG cable of size 3.5 core 70 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm, complete all as specified and directed..

Supply and fix in repair MCCB of capacity 400 Amp, 415 Volts 4 pole with breacking capacity 36 KA in LT panel boards / feeder pillar boxes including disconnecting and removing existing from electric connection including necessary connected fastners, burnt cables, accessories like spreader ,cages etc all as per site requirement/existing make/model, complete all as specifed and as directed Make Indoasian/Schneider/ L&T.

Supply and fixing in repair LED flood light 100 watt 230 V AC outdoor type including necessary bracket with thermal management in multiple optics and equipped with IP66 protection, with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamp, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells /Bajaj/Philips/CG

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of factory assembled, floor mounted, free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels, with canopy, as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycarbonate, should be weather/vermin proof, anti -acid, anti-corrossive, UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1, fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11, UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties, RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thromoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosure should be above 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel shall be fitted with one No polycarbonate IP 65, 9 W LED translucent bulk head luminaire color temp not less than 6500K, PF > 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance. Supply and laying in repair GI pipe light grade for cable protection of size 50 mm bore with fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Boring of holes under road, pavement hard standings by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipes upto 80 mm dia suitable for 0.4 Mpa working pressure, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair, maintenance and making the continuity of supply after rectifying the defects of the electrical items such as light point, fan point, call bell point, socket point 5A/15A, switches, sockets, regulator, lamp holder, brackets, bell, buzzer, push button, batten, ceiling rose, pendent, any type of MCB's, DB's any type of light fixtures, any type of lamp, ceiling fan, exhuast fan, geyser, capacitor, replacement of fuse wires and all elcectrical accessories in day to day/door to door maintenance including reconnection with S&F small pieces of elctrical copper cable of size upto 10 Sqmm single core and length not exceeding 0.50m, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Any major items required to be repaired/replaced will be measured and paid under relevant items as supply only.Cost of labour for replacement will be deemed to include in the unit quoted rate.

Note for item No 28 :- (a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

(b) All bldg light compliants including service connection, sub main & internal electric for entire OTM and Md accn at CQAE (WE) shall be attended

(c) Record of compliants/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format as directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE E/M within 24 hrs.

(d) All sort of petty T&P items such as PVC insulation tape, ladder, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to deptt.

(j) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent compliants, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(k) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge for more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor shall be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more than twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Material and labour in repair for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to and including galvanised earth strip of size 32x6 mm (up to 7.5 mtr length) and GI pipe 40 mm light grade for protection of GI earth strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron and connected to earth test point as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1-2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including excavation and earth work any in type of strata available at site, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 for earth chamber, precast RCC slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (xpm) weight not less (4kg/sqm) tunnel with GI watering pipe of 20mm bore medium grade, wire nuts and lugs complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing. (b) After completion of work earthing shall be tested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. (c) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab. (d) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

Material and labour for in repairs galvanised earth strip of size 32 x 6mm fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- An amount of Rs 68288.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
