Surface excavation n.exc 30 cm deep and averaging 20 cm deep and getting out in hard soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consilidating formation surfaces with power roller exc 8 tonne and n.exc 12 tonne all as specified.

M&L for 150 mm thick soling (sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rilled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tone capacity power road roller, all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bitumenous macadam surface in area exceeding 400 sqm, depth 50 to 100mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5Cm thick (compacted thickness WBM of granite trap or basalt of grading 2 spread rolled and compacted to a true chamber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layer, with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) (sand stone or quartzite) spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tone capacity power road roller, complete all as specified and direced.

Preparing of unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 10 kg/10 Sqm on prepared surfaces with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 kg/10 Sqm on prepared surfaces with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm consolidated thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrastatic paver finisher. (ii) Preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting in tipper.

M&L for semi dense bituminous asphaltic concrete 40 mm (consolidated thickness) using crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix and hydrated lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as direted by Engr-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Bituminous premix asphaltic concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrastatic paver. (ii) Preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting in tipper . (iii) Rolling shall be done in three stages as per clause 5.6.2 of IRC 111:2009 using 9 to 10 tonnes dead weight or vibratory steel wheel roller, pneumatic rollar of 12 to 15 tonnes and finally 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheel rollars.

2mm thick, white/yellow hot thermoplastic road marking paint, confirming to BS standards 3262 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechnical engine driven machine, painting as in strips (continuous or breaking) as directed.

M&L Precast cement concrete 1:2:4 B-1 kerb stone of size 300x100x300mm one edge chamfered set and jointed in CM 1:4 as fixed in repair.
