EXECUTION OF WORK UNDER REPAIRS THE UPPER TIER PLATFORM OF THE CAVES NO.1 AND CONSTRUCTION OF RETAINING WALL IN THE BALANCE PORTION OF VALLEY SIDE, BACK SIDE OF TOILET BLOCK AND CANNON HILL SIDE TO STOP UNWANTED ENTRIES AT ELEPHANTA CAVES, DIST-RAIG

Description of Works

Provision for removing the accumulated debris and exposing the hidden structure very carefully to avoid damage, sorting of antiquities, sculptures etc., if found, and disposal of rubbish to a lead of 1000 mtrs by vehicle including loading and unloading lorry as per instructions of head office etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Earthwork excavation in hard soil including removal of excavated materials and disposing the same up to a distance of 50 mtrs. including initial lead and lift etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Provision for providing and laying rubble soling 0.15 m thick including ramming consolidating etc. complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6 proportion using by 20mm size hard stone metal including mixing laying and curing the concrete etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Provision for construction of UCR masonry in cement mortar 1:4 including cost of all material and labour charges, curing etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing and fixing M.S grill fencing in between 'the steel post of size 100x100x5mm hollow section of 1.90m. height'(0.30 m. emdeded in concrete) using 16 mm square bars( 22nos )to a height of 1.50 meters. fabricated by MS 'L' angle of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm for frame and supported with horizontal of M.S. flat of size50 x 6 mm two nos as per the sketch enclosed including applying two coat of smoke grey colour enamel paint after aaplying a coat of iron primer etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing brickwork with modular brick in super structure above plinth level in cement mortar 1:4 with necessary scaffolding curing etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing and laying stone flooring with dressed basalt stone of size 0.45x0.30x0.10m thickness stone obtained from approved quarry including loading unloading conveyance and fixing in position over the bed of 50mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing and laying two line dressed basalt stone steps of size (0.45x0.30x 0.15 to 0.20) stones obtained from approved quarry including loading, unloading, conveying and fixing in position over a bed 40 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 etc. Complete as directed by site incharge.
