Extension of dump body in 05 Nos. CAT777E, 100T dumpers by fabrication, DPE and SR testing to increase Coal Haulage at 100T dumper Section of Amlohri Project

Scope of Work/Technical Specifications etc. :- (1) Demounting of dump body in which conversion is to be done from chassis of dumper by removal of pin of hoist jack and dump body hinges and place at suitable place of working. (2) Removal of plate and round bar (both sides) by cutting, gauging from old dump body. (3) Removal of round bar (both sides) by cutting, gauging from the dumper in which conversion to be done. (4) Grinding of cut / gauged area (both sides) where fabricated plates are to be welded. (5) Joining of fabricated plates (both sides) with appropriate electrodes as per calculated desired dimensions. (6) Ribbing of extended part of dump body (both sides) to strengthen the structure and denting the same from inner and outside side to match the correct dimensions. (7) Fabrication of stopper plate using old dump body material. (8) Welding (using MIG welding process) of stopper plate of suitable dimension over the canopy to avoid the spillage of coal in the front of dumper. (9) DPT (10 jobs) & stress relieving (05 jobs) of welded area. (10) Mounting of converted body on the chassis of subject dumper by fitment of pins of hoist jack and dump body hinges of the dumper. (11) Painting of fabricated plates.

Denting of plates as and when required (Expected denting area = 80 Sq.ft x 05 nos. dumpers = 400 Sq.ft. )

Providing paint & painting charges 2500 Sq.ft. x 05 nos. dumpers = 12500 Sq.ft.

Providing MIG rolls (wire welding, MIG Alloy 0.703-0.8 mm) 100 Kg x 05 nos. dumpers = 500 Kg.

Providing Hardfacing MIG rolls (Hard facing flux core wire) 40 Kg. x 05 nos. dumpers.

Providing CO2 cylinder 200 kg x 05 nos. dumpers = 1000 Kg.

DPT test pre and post 08 nos. x 05 nos. dumpers = 40 nos.

Stress relieving test 04 nos. x 05 nos. dumpers = 20 nos.
