Excavating in trenches for foundations, laying / taking out of pipes/cables etc in hard/dense soil n. exc 1.50 m in depth and n. exc 1.50 m in width and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per the description of serial item No 1 here in above but depth exceeding 1.5 mtr but n exc 3.0 mtr.

Returning, filling in soils including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping, benching, bed plate, bed blocks, pedestals, thrust blocks, supports to pipes and the like with plain fair faces, slightly rounded or chamferred angles including necessary from work as required complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling existing cement concrete structure and removing rubbish to outside MoD land all as directed.

Brick work with subclass 'B' old size, well burnt bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.0 cm mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling existing brick work and removing rubbish to outside MoD land all as directed.

15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Steel water tubing, medium grade, galvanised with all fittings, laid in trenches, complete all as specified and as directed including taking out old GI tubing and removing from site of work all as directed, of bore: Note:- (For Serial item No. 8.01 to 8.06) : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Steel water tubing, medium grade galvanised with all fittings fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and as directed including taking up / down old GI tubing and removing from site of work all as directed, of bore: NOTE:- (For Serial items No 9.01 to 9.03). (i) Cutting chases, if any, required for concealing of pipes and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with existing is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) Unit rate is inclusive of fixing pipes to walls with clips, wall hooks, wooden plugs.

Gun metal globe or gate valves with iron wheel head, ISI marked, screwed both ends for iron pipes and fixed, in replacement (including taking down old globe or gate valve) complete all as specified and as directed, of bore (Internal dia):

Straight plain brass ferrule (or connecting screws) screwed both ends and fixed for 25 mm dia bore (internal dia) pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioing ductile iron pressure pipe with socket & spigot ends having ISI stamping / marking conforming to IS:8329/2000 in standard length of 5.50 metre - 6.00 metre of classification K-9 with rubber tyton (gasket D-jointing) with cement mortar lining in the pipes, including aligning the pipes inside trench as per IS:12288/1987 and testing the joints with required water pressure, complete all as specified and as directed including taking up old CI pipes and removing from site of work all as directed, of bore (internal dia): Note: (For Srl item No: 12.01 to 12.04) (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) CI/DI joint specials including rubber ring joint shall be measured and paid for separately. (iii) Cutting of existing CI/DI pipe for making connection shall be measured and paid for separately.

Ductile iron fittings such as bends, tapers, single branches, "Y" junction, collars, mechanical collars, caps and plugs including necessary nuts, bolts and washers, any type, any size, spigot socket or flanged ends of size upto 350 mm bore (Internal dia) conforming to IS-9523/2000 with pressure rating PN-1 (all fittings to be coated for rust prevention i.e. external coating zinc rich paint with finishing layers of bituminous paint as per Annexure-A of IS:9523/2000 and internal lining shall be of cement mortar with seal coat as per Annexure-B of IS-9523/2000) complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Rubber ring joints shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Excavation and earth work, if any, shall be measured and paid for separately. (iii) Cutting of existing CI/DI pipe for making connection shall be measured and paid for separately.

Rubber ring tyton push joints ISI marked suitable for spigot and socket ends DI pipes and fittings as per IS : 5382 with jointing material complete all as specified and as directed for bore (internal dia) of pipe/fitting:-

Cutting of existing CI/DI pipeline for repairs / replacement of pipe line and insertion of collars tail pieces, tees etc including dewatering of pit if required, complete all as specified and as directed, pipeline of bore (internal dia). Note:- (For Srl item No 15(a) to 15 (d)) Excavation and earth work, clause required, shall be measured and paid for separately.

Ductile iron non rising sluice valve, resilient seated pocket less body, stainless steel spindle EPDM coated ductile iron wedge 100% vaccum light design with toroidal design rings and over 250 micron epoxy coating in PN-1.6 designed as per BS 5163/IS:14846 and operating wheel including gasket, nuts, bolts and washers, supplied and fixed / fitted in any location / position, in replacement (including taking up / down old valve) including necessary excavation and earth work, as required, complete all as specified and as directed, of bore (internal dia):

Ductile iron rising sluice valve, Stainless Steel spindle, flanged ends PN-1.6 ISI marked as per IS:14846/2000 and CI operating wheel including gasket, nuts, bolts and washers supplied and fixed in any position / location, in replacement (including taking up down old valve), including necessary excavation and earth work as required, complete all as specified and as directed, of bore (internal dia):

Dismantling the existing sluice valve in situ , taking out defective spindle and check nut , supply and fixing new SS spindle & brass check nut all as per existing , reasembling the sluice valve by replacing rusted nuts/bolts and rubber gaskets , testing for proper working for size 100 mm dia complete all as directed.

All as per item No 18 here in before but 150 mm dia.

Dismantling the existing sluice valve in situ , taking out defective valve seat , supply and fixing new valve seat all as per existing , reasembling the sluice valve by replacing rusted nuts/bolts and rubber gaskets , testing for proper working for size 100 mm dia complete all as directed.

All as per item No 20 here in before but 150 mm dia.

Single phase electrically actuated ductile iron butterfly valve suitable with nominal dia 150mm PN-16, suitable for potable water application, 230 V AC/24 V DC, alongwith starter/control panel, positioner transmitter in replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down old rusted MS pipes 150mm dia & Supply, laying, jointing and testing ERW mild steel black pipe of 150mm nominal bore medium grade (Class-'B') as per IS: 1239(Part-I) 2004 laid in trenches, over PCC pillars, across or under bridges/ along hill side (up or down)/ culverts/ inside valve pits complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) MS fittings, MS flanges, Joints shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately

Supply and fixing MS flange for 150 mm nominal bore pipes, 17.5mm thick, 279mm outer dia having 8 holes drilled for 18mm dia bolts for jointing with the existing and new MS pipes, duly welded with pipes/ fittings, bends properly to the plain end complete all as specified and as directed.

Flanged joints for 150 mm nominal bore pipes including compressed asbestos fiber gasket 3mm thick and 8 Nos nuts and bolts of size 18mm dia and 75mm length with 2 Nos washer 3mm thick to joint pipes/ fittings/ bends etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Pipe fittings, in replacement, like MS bends, tapers, tee pieces (single & double branch) any type and angle/ radius and straight connecting pieces, tail pieces, collars etc, flanged ends type of any size / type upto 150mm bore complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : (i) MS flanges and Joints shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. (ii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Flanged joints/collar joint/ mechanical joint for 100 mm nominal bore pipes including compressed including all joint pipes/ fittings/ bends/washer and nuts and bolts of size 18mm dia and 75mm length with 2 Nos washer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up carefully ductile iron pipe 150mm bore with spigot & socket ends from trenches and keeping aside for shifting & relaying within 50 mtrs including all fittings and tyton push rubber joints complete all as specified & directed. Note: (i) Cutting of pipe shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) Excavation earth works for taking down shall be measured and paid for separately.

Laying, jointing and testing of ductile iron pressure pipe with socket & spigot ends retrieved from item No. 33 here-in-before including aligning the pipes inside trench as per IS:12288/1987 and testing the joints with required water pressure complete all as specified & directed. Note: (i) Cutting of pipe shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) Excavation earth works shall be measured and paid for separately. (iii) Rubber joints CI/DI specials shall be measured and paid for separately.

(a) Excavation in hard/dense soil to expose the leaking portion of the MS header ( appx size of excavation shall be 2 mtr x 2 mtr x 4 mtr deep) including removing mud from the pit & bailing out leaking water continuously complete refilling/removal of surplus soil etc all as directed. ( Necessary T&P, ladders, safety devices and supporting plates/channels etc required to prevent falling of soil/mud from the side of the pit shall be arranged by the contractor and unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost for same) . – 01 job. (b) Cutting the existing leaking portion of the 22” dia MS header using gas cutter by cutting all around the header pipe. – 01 Job (c) S & F MS collar/ring fabricated from 10 mm thick 200 mm width flat iron suitable for fixing over the end of the 18'' to 22'’ dia MS header and making a leakproof welding joint all around complete all as directed. – 01 job (d) S & F 22’ dia MS pipe 600 mm long dully welded with 25 mm dia MS dead plate on one end and other end plain suitable for inserting into MS collar as in Sl No c above and welding all around to make a leak proof joint complete – 01 Job. (e) Testing for proper working. – 01 Job.

Dismantling carefully ductile iron pipe with spigot & socket ends from trenches and Cleaning/descaling and checking the complete loop for any blockages/damage or puncture & relaying including all fittings and tyton push rubber joints complete all as specified & directed for following sizes. Note: (i) Cutting of pipe shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) Excavation earth works for taking down shall be measured and paid for separately.(iii) Damage pipe replaced shall be paid separately under respective item.

Mild steel plates / sheets (plain or chequered) of thickness not exceeding 3 mm, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter scent ), cut to size as directed and placed in position with and including mild steel angle of size and shape as required, complete all as specified and as directed including taking up precast concrete cable cover and removing from site of work, all as directed.
