REPAIRS/REPLACEMENT OF OLD VINTAGE FRESH WATER AND RAW WATER PIPE LINE, SLUICE VALVE, AIR RELEASED VALVES, VALVE CHAMBER AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS CSD, DSD AND ESD IN DEPOT AREA UNDER GE PULGAON

Excavation in trenches by mechnical means (hydraulic excavator) not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out all kind of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers of soil not exceeding 25cm.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point of rock.

M&L for CI /DI special/ fittings suitable for CI flanged/socket ends pipe upto 80 to 150 mm bore dia such as bends, (any radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee piece, single branch 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all flanged), collars, caps & plug, tail pieces, reducers, mechanical joint, etc. complete all as specified and as directed,

M&L for CI/DI special/ fittings suitable for CI flanged/socket ends pipe upto 200 to 300 mm bore dia such as bends, (any radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee piece, single branch 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all flanged), collars, caps & plug, tail pieces, reducers etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up old U/S 100 mm bore hume pipe line/CI/GI/DI any type water mains pipes, any class,(including all fittings),disconnecting pipes and fittings complete

All as per item No 6 above but for size 150 mm bore

All as per item No 6 above but for size 200 mm bore

Relaying only old pipe CI/DI/GI/Hume in good condition/pipe taken out from trenches for repairs in any length including fittings etc. of size 100mm bore

All as per item No 9 above but for size 150 mm bore

Supply and fix DI pipes 100mm with spigot and socket ends centrifugally casted class K7 in any length suitable for rubber tytan joint and Laid in trenches of following size.

Supply and fix cast iron pipes with spigot and socket ends centrifugally casted class LA in any length suitable for rubber tytan joint and Laid in trenches of size 150mm bore.

All as per item No 13 above but for size 200 mm bore

M&L for rubber tyton joints for suitable for sockets and spigot CI pipes including rubber gasket of size 100mm bore

All as per item No 15 above but for size 150 mm bore

All as per item No 15 above but for size 200 mm bore

M&L for burning out lead joint in position , including removing lead to store / stacked at site to issue under credit and new run lead joint for spigot socket cast iron pipes and fitting, including caulking properly and making joint leak proof of size 150 mm bore.

Taking out old US sluice valves and supply and fix of new sluice valve PN-1.0 heavy duty ISI marked as per (IS-14846) with flanged ends with 02 Nos of rubber gaskets, nut bolts and washers along with SS spindle and operating wheel of size 80mm bore all as directed

All as per item No 20 above but for size 100 mm bore

Taking out sluice valves refacing, regrinding and refixing including Repacking stuffing box of sluice valve spindle brass including taking apart and reassembling of 200 MM complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note : (i) cost of gasket and nut bolts ,washers'jointing of materials as required are inclusive in above job. ii) Required T&P for job is provided by the Contractor is deemed to be included in the item rate. (iii) Excavation for pipe is included in job Work.

M&L for dismantling old wall valve chamber and construction of brick masonary new valve pit chamber of size 900mmx900mmx900mm (internal ) size 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 lean concrete foundation using 40mm graded stone aggregate providing well burnt brick masonary wall of 23mm thick built in CM 1:6 rendering in cement 1:6 finished even smooth using extra cement internally and 20mm thick in CM 1:4 and finished fair and even supply and fix 2.00 mm thick MS sheet steel cover fixed on 50mmx50mmx6mm thick angle iron frame embeded in PCC coping with locking arrangement and 1 Nos 50mm size 4 levers lock with key in duplicate Standard size and MS hold fast and handle made out of 25 x 6mm flat iron applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade over a coat of primer (Red Oxide) to all exposed surface making good all disturbed surface to match surrounding complete all as specified and directed.
