PREAMBLE TO BILL OF QUANTITIES (BOQ)

The tenderer is deemed to have inspected the structures for dismantling/ demolition and

acquainted himself with their condition. The dismantling/ demolition shall be done carefully,

without causing any damage to the properties of the others in surrounding to the project

namely "NBCC Green View" at Sector-37D, Gurugram.

The information furnished is based on the assessment at site and "AS WHERE IS BASIS" and

NBCC (INDIA) LIMITED does not accept any responsibility about its correctness or otherwise.

The tenderers are therefore advised to inspect the site of work, acquaint themselves about the

conditions prevailing at the site of work and then quote the rates accordingly. No claim

whatsoever will be entertained by NBCC (INDIA) LIMITED if the drawings / details given along

with the tender based on available records with NBCC (INDIA) LIMITED are not in complete

correspondence to the structures, sizes etc., actually available at the site / encountered during

the course of execution/ demolition of the work.

The contractor shall stack up the building rubbish/ C&D waste/ debris in an organized manner

on the locations as per the direction of Engineer In charge. Further, in case the Engineer In

charge observes, all or the part there of the building rubbish shall have to dispose from the

said project in compliance to the local by laws by the contractor as per direction of Engineer In

charge at his own cost nothing shall be payable extra in this regard.

The contractor shall carry out the work and/ or stack the dismantled materials and debris,

without causing any hindrance to the day-to-day functions of the adjoining areas and normal

activities of the adjacent areas including housing colonies & school etc. The contractor shall

provide necessary barricading, danger signals and sign boards and also demarcate and

isolate the working area so as to prevent unauthorized entry into Complex premises and also

ensure safety of persons and property in the vicinity of the area to be demolished, at his own

cost and nothing shall be paid extra in this regard.

The tenderers are advised to inspect the structures, acquaint themselves with the nature of

work, conditions at site and also ascertain for themselves the quantity and the value of

salvageable materials available in the structures to be dismantled, before submitting their

tender. No claim whatsoever against NBCC (INDIA) LIMITED shall be entertained at a later

date on account of any variation between the details of the buildings/ inventories as actually

available at site.

The description of the item of work given in the schedule of quantities should be read along

with the specifications and the conditions of contract. The contractor is deemed to have

satisfied himself before tendering as to the correctness and sufficiency of his tender for works

and of the rates and price quoted cover all his obligations under the contract apart from all

matters and things necessary for the proper completion of the work. The rate quoted shall be

inclusive of all taxes, GST, levies, duties, cost of insurance, statutory fee (as applicable) etc.

GENERAL & MANDATORY

The contractor to take adequate precautions to protect

and avoid damages to all around

buildings/structures/infrastructures to be retained. All

dismantling is to be completed as per

annexure/drawings, approvals and instructions of the

Engineer-in-charge. No dismantled materials will be

allowed to be accumulated at site after dismantling

buildings and other structures mainly comprising of

concrete, RCC, brick work, flooring, finishes,

pavement, doors, windows and ventilators, roofing,

electrical, water supply, sanitary installations, rain

water pipe with all fittings and fixtures etc. The job also

includes all levelling and stacking of all the C&D

waste/ debris on the locations as well as disposal of

rubbish, if required, as directed by Engineer In charge.
