MS Structural Repairs and Painting of External MS Staircase at Pushp Building, ACTREC

Structural steelwork riveted, bolted, or welded in built-up sections, trusses, and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position, and applying a priming coat of approved zinc-chromate yellow primer and painting it with synthetic enamel paint of an approved brand and manufacturer of the required colour to give an even shade: Two or more coats over an undercoat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture., all complete.

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and ACTREC campus as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: Two or more coats on old work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture. ACTREC campus as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

SCAFFOLDING: Providing and erecting bamboo scaffolding using 50mm to 75mm dia best quality bamboo tied with coir rope and the horizontal and vertical members of the bamboo to be provided as required at spacing of not more than 900mm apart both vertically and horizontally including providing cross support but logs as struts to tie the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance repair works for external or internal surfaces of building as and when required including providing necessary safety belts other safety standard accessories to workers working on the scaffolding including removing the scaffolding after the repair work is completed including cost of transactions labour bamboos safety belts etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Single scaffolding & Double scaffolding Note: The mode of measurement shall be in square meter for the overall portion of external exposed surface area of buildings covered by scaffolding and the said area shall be measured flat No.. deductions shall be made for any openings in the surface and the jambs/reveals of such opening shall not be measured for payment.
