REPAIR/MAINT OF INTERNAL ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT DARRANGA AND HATTIGOR MIL STNs UNDER GE RANGIA

M&L for repair to potholes any depth and not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings complete all as specified and directed

M&L for scarifying and picking gravelled , macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth not exc 50 mm complete all as specified and directed

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) by using 4% bitumen content using paving bitumen any penetration of grade VG-30 (confirming to IS-73-2006) laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne capacity power road roller laid with mechanical paver etc complete all as specified and directed Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) If actual design mix comes less than 4% binder content, then the rate of recovery of bitumen shall be as per rate in purchase vouchers per kg for the purpose of adjustment. However, no adjustment shall be made if the binder content is required more than 4%.

M&L for 75 mm thick WBM with coarse agg of grading 2 (63 to 40mm) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm), rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with granite trap or basalt complete all as specified and directed

Preparing surface of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with catonic bitumen emulsion RS-1 confirm to IS:8887 @ 7.5 Kg per 10 Sqm on surface of WBM as specified in table 500-3 of MORTH using mechanical sprayer on WBM surfaces and black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Preparing surface of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Applying tack coat catoinic emulsion (RS-I) Confirming to IS:8887 @ 2.5 Kg/ Per X Sqm on bituminous surfaces as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH using mechenical sprayer complete in all respect complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for bituminous premix asphaltic semidense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and premixed material, laid with mechanical paver finished including rolling to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 10 tone power roller to required compaction complete all as specified and directed. M&L for painting 2.5mm thick road marking strips not.exceeding 10 cm width or girth for layout of centre line, dashes, rows, speed breakers, writing letters etc, with thermoplastic road marking paint (reflective) of specified shade or colour by using fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads speser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater oven by experienced operator on road surface incuding road marking paint spray machine as in lines, dashes letters, arrows etc complete all as specified and directed.
