| 1.01 | Heavy Duty CRCA Steel Frame Lecture Theatre Seating System
Providing, Supplying, Installing and Fixing Fixed Type Floor Mounted Lecture Theatre Seating System suitable for Universities, Engineering Colleges, Medical Colleges, Pharmacy Colleges, Management Institutes and Educational Institutions comprising writing desk, seat bench, perforated modesty panel, book rack and heavy-duty CRCA steel supporting structure complete in all respects as per approved design and specifications.
The writing top shall be manufactured from **18 mm thick Pre- Laminated Particle Board (PLPB)** of approved make of Action Tesa/Century/Greenlam having decorative laminate finish on both sides. The exposed edges shall be finished with **2 mm thick PVC edge banding** applied through automatic edge banding machine using hot melt adhesive technology. The writing top shall have a depth of **350 mm** and shall be adequately supported by steel brackets and structural members to prevent deflection during use. The seat bench shall be manufactured from **18 mm thick Pre Laminated Particle Board** with decorative laminate finish on both sides and exposed edges protected with **2 mm thick PVC edge banding**. The seat depth shall be **350 mm** and ergonomically designed for comfortable seating during prolonged classroom sessions. The modesty/back panel shall be manufactured from **2 mm thick CRCA steel sheet**, CNC perforated and press formed with folded edges for enhanced rigidity. The panel shall be powder coated and securely fixed to the structural framework. A book rack shall be provided below the seating level and manufactured from CRCA steel wire framework/perforated steel construction, suitable for keeping books, bags, files and laptops. The complete supporting structure shall be fabricated from **75 mm × 25 mm × 2 mm thick Oval CRCA Tube** and **80 mm × 40 mm × 2 mm thick Rectangular CRCA Steel Section**,conforming to IS: 513 standards. Additional reinforcement members shall be provided wherever required to ensure structural rigidity and long service life. The floor mounting arrangement shall consist of **2 mm thick press formed CRCA steel base plates**, laser cut and press formed for heavy-duty institutional usage. The complete system shall be rigidly fixed on stepped flooring using anchor fasteners and floor grouted installation arrangement.
All steel components shall undergo pretreatment comprising degreasing, de-rusting, phosphating and passivation before application of powder coating. The structure shall be finished with **epoxy polyester powder coating of minimum 70–80 microns DFT**, oven baked to provide a smooth, corrosion resistant and scratch resistant finish.All welding shall be carried out by MIG welding process. Weld joints shall be properly dressed, ground and finished to provide smooth surfaces free from sharp edges and visible welding marks.
