Construction of ICDS Centre Building, Pongali Amman Street at Vadavali North School, Vadavalli in Ward No.36, West Zone.

Earth work excavation in all kinds of soil including sand, silt, wet sand under water, black cotton, stiff black cotton, clay, hard stiff clay, hard red earth, murram, stoney earth, gravel and shales etc. excepting all kinds of rock and boulders exceeding 0.014 c.u.m. in volume including rough dressing and dumping the excavated materials away from work site manually within 50m initial lead and 2m initial lift as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement, four sand and Eight aggregate) using 40mm gauge hand broken granite stone jelly for foundation including dewatering if found necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick and compacted, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and erecting shuttering, including necessary supports, for plane surfaces such as RCC columns, footings, plinth beams, staircases, etc., at all floors, using mild steel sheets of size 90 cm × 60 cm and 10 gauge, stiffened with welded mild steel angles, for boarding supported by casuarina props at suitable intervals, etc., complete, complying with the standard specifications and as directed.

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits, including supports and strutting up to 3.29 m height, for plane surfaces such as RCC slabs, rectangular beams, Tee beams, RCC beams, bed blocks, staircase waist and landing slabs, landing beams, canopies, etc., at all floors, with all cross-bracings, using mild steel sheets of size 90 cm × 60 cm and 10 gauge, stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25 mm × 25 mm × 3 mm for boarding, laid over country wood joists of size 10 cm × 6.5 cm, spaced at about 90 cm C/C, and supported by casuarina props of 10 cm to 13 cm diameter, spaced at 75 cm C/C, etc., complete as directed.

Supplying and fabricating R.T.S. rods of various diameters, including cutting, bending, placing in position and tying with suitable binding wire, etc., complete as directed.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement, one and a half parts sand and three parts aggregate), using 20 mm gauge hard-broken granite stone jelly, for all RCC items of work, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement grill, but including curing, finishing, etc., complete, and also including fixing fan clamps and fixtures in RCC works wherever necessary, as directed by the departmental officer.

Supplying and filling with well gravel in layers, including watering, ramming, consolidation, etc., complete as directed.

Brickwork in cement mortar 1:5 mix (one cement and five sand), using First Class table-moulded burnt clay bricks of size 9" × 4½" × 3", for the following works, including curing, etc., complete.

Ground Floor level.

Plastering with cement mortar 1:3 mix (one cement and three sand), 12 mm thick, including all materials and labour, complete.
