Disconnecting the existing defective electric motor of any make 1 to 3 HP from electric mains by isolating the naked connections, removing from foundation by unscrewing the nuts, bolts etc, dis-couple from pump etc opening of motor for inspection in presence of Engr-in-Charge & carry out minor repairs at site re-assembling the motor after repair, re-fixing in position re-connecting same as prior to removing from foundation including replacement of nuts, bolts washers if necessitates of suitable size, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (a) Replacement of defective parts shall be measured and paid separately as S&F here after. (b) In case of major repairs not possible at site, the motor shall be shifted to contractor’s wksp and cost of shifting to wksp and back to site included in the item rates.

Taking out old unserviceable/burnt copper winding of motors capacity 1 to 3HP (defective motor taken out in item No. 1above) and material and labour for rewinding of electric motor of capacity 1 to 3 HP , 3 Phase with super enameled copper winding wire of suitable gauge as per existing including cleaning of rotor slots, all winding/insulation material, varnishing etc. complete and testing at site on full load after reinstallation to the full satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for providing Chemical Earthing with copper earth plate 900mm x600mm x 5mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc complete with alternate layer of salt crystal and charcoal and Magnesium sulphate crystal as specified below:- (a) The earth pit should be of minimum 12 ft depth and 4 ft width (b) The copper plate should be of 900mm x600mm x 5mm thick. (c) The copper strip should be of 32mmx6mm dimensions (cross section) up to 7.5 mtr (d) The quantity used should be:- (i) Charcoal - 250 Kg (ii) Salt crystal - 200 Kg (iii) Magnesium sulphate crystal - 100 Kg (e) 3/4 inch dia GI pipe of enough length to reach just above copper plate fitted with funnel, meshed along with cap and running water should be provided for keeping the soil wet approx one mtr GI pipe be kept out side for connection of running water. (f) The pit shall be constructed in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using (using 20mm grade stone aggregate) RCC slab shall be provided in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate, 50 mm thick pit cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars, 75mm c/o both ways MS handle 12mm dia, PGI funnel wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20mm bore (light grade) and earth lead protection pipe up to 7.5 mtr of 50 mm bore (light grade) shall be including the item.

M&L complete for Earthing with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode of size 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the normal ground level with the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m (B.G.L.) and connected to GI earth strip 25X4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron including PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, precast RCC cover slab with suitable handle made of 12 mm round bar including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm dia medium grade galvanised steel tube for watering with one end fixed with cast iron funnel and wire mesh, 40mm bore light grade galvanised steel tubing upto 7.5 mtr length for drawing earth lead wire protection common salt, charcoal etc complete all as shown in EP No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or copper main earthing lead fixed to wall or bottom on porcelain insulator or recess on chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe of size 20mm x 3 mm strip completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or bottom on porcelain insulator or recess on chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to pole or any other indicated of size 20mm x 4 mm galvanised iron strip completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F porcelain insulator on angle iron frame for mounting of strip heater all as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
