Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Serviceable bricks shall be stacked separately for reuse.

S&F High strength corrosion resistant TMTsteel bar of grade Fe-500, 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not other wise provided for all as directed
S&F rolled mild steel work as in cover for SW tank including cleats, brackets, etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel painting over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L plain cement concrete 1:3:6,type C-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L PCC in foundation filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8, using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nuts, n exc 5cm long diameter of neck 5 to 10mm including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply only Chain link mesh made of 3mm dia galvanised wire confirming to IS 2712 and having zinc coating of type heavy as laid down in IS 4826 including line wires/ binding wire etc fixed to any type of standards posts complete all as specified and as directed.
Straining and fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh size and type, fixed to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provision of 10mm dia MS bars as line wire welded to fencing posts for fixing fencing wire mesh complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Supply only 10mm dia round bars measured and paid vide item No 24. However, labour aspect is deemed to be included in this item.
M&L PCC type C-1,1:3:6 (20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in precast cement concrete solid building blocks or slabs 10cm thick (with plain or interlocking joint as directed) setting in mortar, in walls complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply only 10mm dia round bars, cut to length ,hooking ends as in wooven/ straining bar (stiches through chain link fencing between post) complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc complete all as specified and as directed (Note : Each line of wire to be measured).
M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces under 10 cm girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.
Note for item No 26 & 27 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.
(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.
(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.
(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)
(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE
(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.
(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.
(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.
M&L 100mm thick, Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates), as in hardstanding including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including demolition of existing concrete and removal of debris out of MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The concrete shall be laid in alternate bays at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length in each bay and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.
M&L Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the sides with PCC 1:3:6 complete all as specified and directed. Note : The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing of debris outside of MD land
M&L in repairs Granite work (of any type) 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished including round edge) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms, wash basin platform and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with granite shade over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cm 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Dismantling of stone slab and tiles laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any discription of thickness in floor (ii) The unit rate is deemed to be included for rounding to edges of stone slabs.
Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Removal of excavated material to a distance exceeding 1.50 Km and not exceeding 5.00 Km and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2 300mm bore laid and jointed complete with collars including demolition of existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering in damaged/depressed ground for making good omplete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Framed work such as grills, gratings, angles etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of static water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including dismantling/ taking down existing framed work and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint including one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L Preparation of old steel rusted surface of Watch Towers of height 10 to 15 mtr of any description over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed
Note for item No 46 :- (i) Necessary boom lift/ scaffolding required for working upto 15 mtr height from natural ground level will be arranged by the contractor and cost for the same shall deem to be included in the unit quoted rate.
(i) The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm lying around approaches, cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine around 3 m from plinth protection and removing the grass waste to outside MD land.
(iii) Necessary safety arrangement like safety belts,ropes,helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 15 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be inclusive in unit quoted rate quoted.
M&L Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted, bolted or welded attachment. (Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A including dismantling of existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass not exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.
M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing 4mm thick figured glass pin head type and glazing with oil putty or wooden beads in squares n. exc. 0.50 Sqmtr each pane including Hacking out old borken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads complete all as specified and directed.
M&L 100 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in sub base , filling and mass concrete or as in receiving tiles/ surface channels and drains etc including demolition of existing cocrete complete all as specified and directed.
M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cmx30cmx25mm thick machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in floors and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) including demolition of existing tile complete all as specified and directed. Note : The manufacturer's test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority.
M&L Machine cut cudappah stone slab 20-25mm thick, laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed base in CM(1:4), laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Dismantling of stone slab and tiles laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any description or thickness in existing floors. (ii) The unit rate is deemed to be included for rounding to edges of stone slabs.
Dismantling of loose barbed wire fencing and re-fixing barbed wire of any description straining and fixing to any type of standrard rails including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire ,stapple or steel pins as directed
Dismantling of existing disturbed concertina coil of 1050mm dia of any description and refixing the same in boundary wall all as specified and as directed
M&L in repairs broken glass coping 25mm thick on top of walls by fixing glass in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The quoted rates shall deemed to include for the following:- (a) 25mm layer of cement mortar glass (of bottle or thick glass) broken to approximately 63mm gauge, shall be firmly embedded at the rate of 10 Kg of glass per square metre of rendered surface, jogged edges of the glass being left projecting. (b) Taking down existing broken glass coping. (c) Scaffolding for execution of work and protective measures should be taken.
Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering and Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 mixed with water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.(b) WPC will be measured and paid separately as supply only. Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M&L for applying two coats of cement based paint on newly plastered surfaces of walls over a coat of primer including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
Taking down and refixing the same steel gate not exc 3.00 sqm each pane after petty repairs ie pivot, holdfast, stopper, locking arrangement, pintal etc.. and necessary greassing to shutter, with or including spot welding, running welding all as specified and as directed.
Welding in repairs n. exc 2.5cm in length and thickness of Metal to be Welded n. exc 6mm complete all as specified and directed
M&L for Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide including dismantling existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F Mild steel black sheet 0.80mm thick in wall cladding, steel gates and similar works, cut to size, holes punched including round headed screws, clout nails for rebates and fixed to steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with rebated or weilded seams including bending or turning up mitred angles etc as required and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide including dismantling existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
Removing spoil/silt type soil from the existing storm drain of any size and description by excavation and getting out including removing the lid and place the same after cleaning and removal of sludge /silt/soil to a distance exc 1.5 km but n exc 5 Km and depositing where directed including repairing cracks in cement motor(1:3) where noticed in drain all as spd and directed. Note :- (a) The unit rate is deemed to be included for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 1m from both side of the drain to outside MD land. (b) The work to be executed in highly restricted area.
