DIRECT CURRENT VOLTAGE GRADIENT SURVEY FOR COATING SURVEY OF 3 NOS OF 8 KM LONG 24 CROSS-COUNTRY PIPELINES AT MCI.

DCVG coating survey of buried pipeline Mangalore Coastal Installation (MCI) is a POL location, located very close to Mangalore Refinery and petrochemical limited. It takes product from MRPL and from ocean tanker through 3 no of 24 Dia 8 km long dedicated cross country buried pipelines for MS, Naphtha and HSD. MCI caters to different sales areas of Mangalore Retail Territory, Gulbarga Territory, Calicut territory, Rescue loads to Belgaum Territory and I&C. The underground pipelines are coated with Tar coat wrapping. Any coating is subjected to holidays over the period. Hence as per OISD 130, coating survey must be carried out for underground pipelines every 5 years. Since coating survey of these pipelines are due, it is proposed to do the same as a preventive maintenance measure. Bidders are invited to bid for the same ok
