Rectification of the leakages in 200mm delivery line and 600mm M.S rising main of crude lift station at WSS Dalbund Nishat.

Spot ‘A’ Rectification of leakages in delivery line of the unit no 1 of Crude lift station by way of:- Repairs to 200 mm delivery line of unit no 1 of crude lift station near the window outside the station by way of breaking down half of the cement concrete block nearly about (2’-6” x2’x3’=12cft ) acting as counter weight on the delivery pipe so as to expose the leaking portion of the delivery line by arranging skilled labours having special tools like pneumatic drills ,chisels, hammers etc. Excavation of the earth work involved trench cutting of size 2mtrx 2mtr x1mtr around the delivery line to have a work place for the execution of the repair /welding of the pipe properly. Dewatering of the excavated trench cleaning the delivery pipe properly for undertaking repairs of the damaged spot. Repairs of the damaged portion by way patching & welding of MS delivery pipe. Welding is to be carried out in double layers to plug the leakages completely. Providing laying of cement concrete counterweight block of size 2-6”’x2’x3’ size in 1:2:4 cement concrete mix including providing of all the material and P/fixing of shuttering for the block. The job includes arrangement of welding machine,& other tools and tackles required for the execution of the job at site . Spot ‘B’ Rectification of the leakages in 600 mm dia rising main along the road side by way of dismantling the damaged pipe of length 18 feet after removing the nuts and bolts from the flanges on the both side of the pipe. The nuts and bolts are to be cut using gas cutter as the same are badly rusted. The damaged pipe is to be extracted from the rising main after lifting it using the services of the crane as the pipe cannot be lifted manually and shifting the same to the other side of the road. Lifting the new available 600 mm dia pipe by the crane, shifting to the site of work, holding in position after proper alignment between the two flanges of the rising main. Assembling the new pipe after providing and fitting of new 600 mm (02 no ) rubber gaskets of proper thickness nuts and bolts of assorted size for tight fitment of the pipe to make it leak-proof. The job includes arrangement of crane, gas cutter, and skilled labor for the execution of the work at site. Testing of the delivery pipe and rising main after replacement of the damaged pipe for 2-3 hours on full load operation
