Foundation Bored cast-in situ M-35 grade R.C.C pile 1000 mm diameter in all kind of soil (including hard & boulders ) excluding cost of steel reinforcement , complete as per drawing and conforming to sectioon 1100 and 1700 of MORTH specification (5th revision) -2013 / Latest edition and clause 709 of IRC:78-2000/ latest edition including cost of bentonite slurry, initial vertical and lateral load tests, routine load tests and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead complete in all respect. (i) 1000 dia piles (A) The scope of work in the above items include: (1) The cost of all initial layout of piles and setting out, initial excavation, if any (2 a) The cost of boring through all types of soils/existing road/ pavement, removal of all obstruction like boulders, old foundation concrete or rock to be paid in relevant item above by chiseling or any other method as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. If a bore is abandoned for any reason no payment shall be made for such incomplete boring and shifting of the equipments (2 b) The cost of filling up of the empty bore, if required (3) The cost of preparation, circulation and handling of bentonite slurry. (4) The cost of disposal of all spoil, bentonite waste to keep the work area neat. (5) The cost of providing temporary liner and its withdrawal, if required below adjoining ground level (irrespective of the R.L of the adjoining ground level) for vertical piles) (6) The cost of providing and mixing all ingredients of cement concrete (except reinforcement steel) including admixtures, with batching plant, transportation, placement of concrete by tremie pipe for the required lengths of pile including providing cover blocks, stiffeners, handling bars etc. for safe handling of reinforcement cage. (7) The cost of breaking of pile head not earlier than 3 days after concreting and to remove spoil concrete to bring the pile head to the socketing level including cleaning and arranging the extended reinforcement bars as per drawings. 8)The cost of wrking for all leads, lifts, pumping/ bailing out of water , labour, material and equipment etc. (10) The cost of identification, protection and maintenance of existing services, if any, which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by piling operation incl. temporary shifting of such services to facilitate piling job shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-charge and the cost for the same as assessed by the engineer-in-charge shall be reimbursable. (11) The cost of barricading and all traffic safety requirements as specified in the tender document. (12) The cost of all incidentals, labour, material, equipment and works required to execute the job. The item also includes any other incidental expenditures for completing the job as per the direction of the engineer-in-charge (13) cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP. (14) Cost of Initial vertical load testing, horizontal load testing, routine load testing required as per IS : 2911 part (iv) and as per MoRT&H specification. Minimum 2 no of tests should be carroed pit fpr eacj pf omotoa;- Verticalload test, initial -Lateral load test, routine -Vertical and Routine lateral load test. Initial pile load test shall be carried up to failure, as per requirement of deflectin as per IRC 78:2014 (with latest amendments0 routine load test shall be carried as per relevent code.r (B) Mode of measurement: (1) Length of pile shall be measured from cut off level to the tip of the pile correct to a cm in case where the pile is terminated. The rock level shall be determined as per criteria mentioned elsewhere in the tender document for payment of boring through rock (2) Reinforcement steel shall be measured & paid separately under relevant schedule item 1.06
Earth work in excavation for casting pile cap in all type of soils, weathered rock, existing footings, removal of boulders, concrete, ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required, till concreting, bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry during placement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete sets finally. The item includes the cost of disposal of all spoils, dismantled materials, surplus earth for all leads and lifts, as per clasue No. 304 of MORT&H specificatin 5th revision -2013 and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. Payment shall be made based on approved plan dimensions for PCC below pile cap. The cost of backfilling around the pile cap and restoration of road, if required shall be included.
Providing and laying plain cement concrete M15 aggregate 20mm nominal size) under the pile cap.. The rate shall inlcude the cost of all labour , material etc. complete job as per clause No. 1000/1500. 1700of MoRT&h specification including bailing out water to keep the area dry as per instruction of Engineeer-in-Charge complete in all respect.

(A) The scope of work in the items include: (1) The cost of all initial layout and setting out work including identification of existing services, if any. (2) The cost of all pumping/bailing out of water, including its labour, material and equipments. (3) The cost of providing centering and shuttering including its erection, dismantling and removal of formwork including all leads and lifts with all required tools and plants to the required line and level. (4) The cost of providing and mixing all ingredients (except reinforcement steel) including admixtures etc. with batching plant, transportation, placement, finishing and curing of concrete. (5) The cost of maintenance and protection of existing services, if any which in the opinion of Engineer-in-charge are likely to be affected by any related activities including temporary shifting of such services to facilitate construction of pile cap work shall also have to be done, if so required by the Engineer-in-charge, and the cost for the same as assessed by the Engineer-in-charge shall be reimbursable. (6) The cost of installation of any fixture into the pile cap (cost of fixture to be paid separately) (7) The cost of barricading and all safety requirements as specified elsewhere in the tender document. (8) The cost of testing of all the materials, involved in the execution of items as per QAP. (9) The cost of all incidental labour, materials, equipment and works required to execute the job as per directions of engineer-in-charge. (B) Mode of measurement: (1) Measurements shall be made for the finished volume of reinforced cement concrete restricted to volume as per approved drawing (excluding cost of reinforcement steel only). Quantity of concrete of piles, which has gone into the pile caps shall be deducted. Reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately

(A) The scope of work in the item includes 1) The cost of all initial layout with total stationinstrument and setting out work including identifiatin of existing services , if any. (1-a) The cost of all incidental work required including providing, placement and removal, shifting of shuttering, cleaning, oiling & maintenance, reaction & removal of staging, scaffolding and form liner etc, for piers, pier caps, bearing pedestals and other works as stated in other parts of the tender document. (2) The cost of casting of a mock pier at casting yard true to line, level and shape s per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (3) The cost of casting of pier, pier caps, abutment, abutment caps etc. including providing and mixing all ingredients and admixtures etc. in batching plant, transportation, placement, compacting, finishing and curing, placing in position inserts with pier/pedestals as per specification and the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (4) The cost of disposal of all spoils and to keep the work area neat and tidy during the work and thereafter. (5) The cost of barricading and all safety requirements as mentioned elsewhere in the tender documents. (6) Installation of any fixtures into pier/pier cap etc (cost of fixtures in any, to be paid separately. (7) The cost of all incidentals, labour, material, equipment and works required for the executions of the job as per the direction. (8) The cost of testing all materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP. (9) The cost of working for all leads, lifts, pumping / bailing out water, labour, material and equipment etc. (B) Mode of measurement: 1) Measurement shall be made for the finished volume of concrete only and will be restricted to the dimensions shown.. Fitting and fixing in position true to line and level POT/ PTFE bearing consisting of a metal pistone supported by a disc or unreinforced elastomer comfined with in a metal cyliner, sealing rings, dust deals, PTFE surface sliding against stainless steel mating surface, complete assembly to be as per IRC :83 part-III and as per clasue no. 2000 amd 2200 of MORT&H specifiation -2013 . Tfhe bearing shall be of Sanfield/ METCO/ MAGEBa.

Providing laying and fixisng in position reinfrced cement concrete Crash barrier at the edges of the road, approaches to bridge structure and medians, constructed with M-40 grade concrete with HYSD reinforcement (FE-500) confriming to IRC-21 and dowel bars 25mm dia , 450mm long at expansion joints filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board keyed to the structure on whichg it is built and installed as design given in the enclusure to MORT& H circular No. RW/Nh-33022/1/94-DO-III dt. 24th june 1994 including G.I. pipe 65mm internal dia hand railing as dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer-in-charge as per clasud No. 811 of MORT&H specifidcation -2013. A) The sciope of lwork in the item includes:= Same as per item No. 2.01 : 1) The costof all initial llayout with total station instrument and setting out work including identification of existing services , if any. 2) The itemincludes the cost of preparation andsubmissin of detailedshop drawings , fabricatin , casting fixture, placing . 2) The itemd inlcudes the cost of painting alsong with one cost of anticorrosive primer 3) The item includes the cost of testing of all the materials involved in the execution of the item as per QAP 4) The item includes all other incidental expenditure for competing the jobs as per the drawing or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge b) Mode of Measurement ;- 1) The measurement shall be made in runnig meters of the complerted railing.
Providing and installing single strip seal expansion joints of sanfield/ METCO/ MAGEBA with a total allowable maximum movement 80mm as per clause No. 2606 of MORTH specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) 2013 supplemented with manufacturer's recommendations. Entire installatin is to be carried out strctly in the presence of manufacturer's representaive only, at all times. The seal of the expansion joint shall be such as not to permit any dust collection at all times. A) The scope of work in the item include : 1) The cost of all initial llayout with total station instrument and setting out work. 2) The cost of all materials, labours, equipment and other incidental charges for execution of this item. Supervision during installation by the manufacturer is also included. 2-A) Itemkto include necessary provision and filling of reocees for the expansion joints at no extra cost. 3) Installation and fixing of expansion joints as per manufacturer specifications and design. Drawing approved by the Engineer-in-Charge including chipping of concrete, cleaning of concrete and reinforcement bars, levelling necessary shuttering prre- setting , welding etc. 4)the item include the cost of testing of all the metrails involved in the cecutin of the item as per QAP and tensting of completed and installed joints as per the acceptance criterial of MORTH. B) Mode of Measurement : The expansion joints shall be measured in running meters. The length payable is the actual length provided at site including verticle parts of kerbs/ crash barriers , footpath etc.
Providing and laying stone matrix asphalt (SMA) 50 mm thick using stablizing addatives @ 0.3% by weight of muix , hydrented lime @ 10% using stone aggregate 20mm, 10mm with drum/ nbatch mix plant as sper standard job mix formula including additional aggregate of size 1 to3 mm applied over the hot surface @ 1 to 2 kg per sqm immediately after compaction and density 2.3 gms / cc and bitumen grade CRMB-55 @ 6.00% by weightas per MORT&H Clause No. 515.
Drainage system ; Providing and laying 150mm dia drainage spout with GI grating and PVC drain pipes , spouts , GI steel gratings over formed holes in deck slab, fixing 150mm dia G.i. pipe runner pipes and 150mm dia PVC down take pipes of approved quality and ISI mark at every pier etc. as per approved drawings including bends , collars ,clamps fasterners, threading etc. complete a per clause No. 2705 of MORT&H specificastion 5th revision 2013. A) The scope of work in the item includes : 1) The providing , placing joining and fixing the drainage pipes with all necessary fittings, tools and tackles etc. Completed as per the approved drawing. 2) The cos tof works to make taping all points to be leak proof, tested etc. including all couplers, materials , nmanpower and tool and tackles etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. B) Mode of Measurement : The measurement shall be made in numbers for the drainage port supplied and installed at site. The payment for the pipes will be made in running meters. The quantity will be restricted to sthe length as shown in the approved drawings. a) 150 mm dia drainage spouts with GI grating.

Metalizing girder /girder components such as cross girders ,stiffeners, bracing etc. of new steel girder as directed by engineer with aluminum spray not less than two layers after preparing surface by sand/grit blasting (as per clause 3 of IS 6586 & appendix –A of IS:5905) as per the provision laid in Appendix –VII of IRS B1 2001 specifications ( with latest correction slips) with contractors own material, tools, plants, labour, loading,, if any , including all lead, lift, descents, crossing of tracks/obstructions etc. complete in all respect and as per direction of Engineer in charge .

Supplying, providing, welding of Stud shear connecter ( MINIMUM YEILD STRESS OF 385 n/MM2 , tensil strength of 495N/mm2 and a minimum elogation of 15% prior to the cold formation of the head) by stud arc welding method with llange of steel girder as per designed parameters. the studs and the surface to which the studs are welded shall be free from scale and rust, metal spray , grease , oil paint or other material which would affect the quality of the seld. Stud shear connectors shall confirm to property class SD 1 of BS EN ISO 13918: 2008 and shall be subjected to the ring test & Bend test as per EN 5400-6 rate include transporting the material atall height including dixtures, back up supports accessories, including loading , unloading , lift and taxed complete. Trained personal shall carryout the welding of stud shear connector, guide linesas per IRS B-1 ( Latest version) BS EN ISO 13918:2008& BS -5400 to be followed. Summary of BS EN ISO 13918:2008 provisions have beenenclosed as special specifications.
