Stitching of Bags should be Ring Spun Yarn stitches with 2500-3000 denier double line chain stitch with overlap with stitches along the edge @ minimum 15 stitches per 100 mm. (Bags are to be supplied of 100 numbers or part in a bundle, properly packed with name of Manufacturer and Batch Number is to be marked on each bag with “WRD Govt of ASSAM” to be printed on each bag and mentioning properly the GSM and type of Geo bag polymer. Supply of Geo Bags Type-B (Size 2.00m x 1.50m)( pillow Type) made of composite layers of geo-textile as per specifications below : Woven Geo-textile for the outer cover. The woven geo textile is woven with UV resistant slit film tape fibre with MAVR values of the following properties. Geo-textile used to manufacture geo-textile bags should have high mechanical properties for enhanced durability along with enhanced puncture, abrasion and U.V. resistance characteristics. Geo-textile should be inert to biological degradation and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids. Weight (ISO-9864/ASTMD 5261) ≥300 Gms/Sqm.  Tensile Elongation ( ASTMD 4595)= ≥5% & ≤30%  Grab Elongation ( ASTMD 4632)= ≥5% & ≤30%  Tensile strength ( ASTMD 4632) = 1.5 KN  UV resistance( ASTMD 4355) = 70%/500 hrs  Non woven Geo-textile for the inner layer It is needle punched non woven geo-textile made of 100% polypropylene staple fibers which are formed into a random network for dimensional stability. It should resist UV degradation, rotting and alkalis. Weight (ISO-9864/ASTMD 5261) ≥250 Gms/Sqm.  Tensile strength(MD) numbers or part in a bundle, properly packed with name ofManufacturer and Batch Number is to be marked on each bag with “WRD Govt of ASSAM” tobe printed on each bag and mentioning properly the GSM and type of Geo bag polymer. Item No 4:Filling and laying of nonwoven Geo-textile bag of dimension 2.00mx1.50m including excavation of specified silt from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 90m of the work site, filling geo bags with silt, having minimum volume 0.612 cum after filling,double locking chain stitching the mouth of the filled bags with polypropylene thread by power driven double needle machine, laying at proper site including all handling charges and local carriage within a distance of 100m complete as directed. (Geo Bag and Polypropylene thread will be supplied by the department free of cost) b) By Boat

Filling and laying of ceo bag of size 1.03m x 0.70m including excavation of specified silt from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 90.00m of the work site. Filling Geo-Bags with sand having mimimum weighing 126.00kg and minimum volume 0.084 cum after filling double locking chain stiching the mouth of the filled bags with polypropylene thread by power driven double needle stitched machine, stacking the same in batches of 100 carrying the same to the dumping site including all handling charges within a distance of 150.00m and laying properly as directed. ( Geo-bags and polypropylene thread will be supplied by the Department free of cost.) a) With Boat

Supply of non woven Geo-textile fabric sheets of 300 GSM manufactured from 100% virgin Polypropylene(PP) fibre with minimum properties as (i) Tensile strength > 12 KN/m (ii) Mass > 300.00 Gm/m² (iii) CBR Puncture strength > 3.5 KN (Iv) Elongation at break > 60% (v) Abrasion > 70% (vi) UV Resistance @ 500 hours > 70% (vii) AOS < 75 micron (ix) Permittivity > 1.25 (x) Trapezoidal Tear Strength < 340 N (xi) Permeability = 2.00 x 10³ m/sec (xii) Seam strength = 80 % of geotextile strength. Stitching of Bags should be Ring Spun Yarn stitches with 2500-3000 denier double line chain stitch with overlap with stitches along the edge @ minimum 15 stitches per 100mm. (Each Roll of Geo Fabric Sheet should be supplied in properly packed bundles and should be marked with name of Manufacturer & Batch Number clearly on each bundle with 'WRD Govt. of ASSAM" to be printed on it and mentioning properly the GSM and type of polymer and Test Certificate from approved NABL accredited and ISO Certified Laboratory should invariably be submitted against each batch of material).
