Manning and operation of MES electric installations (Under 11 KV Sub Station 'A' area by deploying with 01 electrician (for successfully running/ functioning of complete HT/LT installations) in each shift of 08 hours (01 Electrician x 03 shift round the clock) each per day incl sundays and holidays complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Manning and operation of MES electric installations (Under 11 KV Sub Station 'C' area by deploying with 01 electrician (for successfully running/ functioning of complete HT/LT installations) in each shift of 08 hours (01 Electrician x 03 shift round the clock) each per day incl sundays and holidays all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes : Quoted rates shall include the followings :- (a) The manning staff will enter the complaints of 11 KV sub stations and connected external electric nature and street/ security lights of indlividual responsibility areas at Babina Cantt in complaint register and prepare the complaint slip and will detail the electrician for attending complaint and will take the signature of users/JE E/M as completion of complaint on slip then same should be pasted in record duly signed in complaint register after its rectification satisfactorily. (b) Stationary i.e. complaint slips, complaint register, tripping record register, handing taking over register etc will be provided by the contractor & no extra payment will be made by the department. (c) The detail record should be maintained for shut down of the respective areas on standard MES type format i..e. log sheet will be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost. (d) The manning staff will maintain the detail record of breakdown of power supply from UPPCL /MES and shut down/ breakdown due to MES over head lines maintain on log sheet register. (e) He will be responsible for keeping the receiving sub station, power house and all HT & LT installation neat & clean so that those are maintained in presentable condition. (f) Proper handing taking over will be done during shift change between manning staff. (g) In case any person becomes absent/ not found on duty or late coming / absent due to non issue of pass etc, the recovery will be made @ double the rate quoted by contractor for the day. The necessary passes provision for manning staffs from concerned authority be the responsibility of contractor. Remarks made by Engr-in-charge on log sheet in this regard will be final . (h) Some other urgent work viz roistering of electricity and attending complaint shall also be completed in time as given by Engr-in-Charge & No extra claim shall be given on this account . (j) He will also be responsible for timely switching OFF & ON street lights for the responsibility areas as per schedule of time. (k) If required, contractor will employ more manpower to carryout the duties assigned above no extra payment shall be given on this account. (l) All the manning staff shall bear uniform and shoe (Colour of the uniform shall be decided by the Engr in Charge) which shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. (m) All tools, T & P, testing equipments, safety equipments such as gloves, safety belt, gum boot, bamboo ladders, discharge rod etc shall be provided by the contractor to the tradesman. The cost for this provision is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (n) The tradesman employed should be ITI passed or having three years of work experience/ electrician license from state Govt.and three year experience having good knowledge of operation, Maint & repair of HT and LT over head electric lines transformers, OCB/ VCBs etc and will have to produce certificate to Engr-in-charge. (o) The installation/machinery incl buildings shall be handed over to contractor in working conditions at the time of commencement of work and the contractor shall replace / repair the defective spare/ equipment become unserviceable due to improper operation at his own arrangement. On completion of contract, the contractor will hand over all E/M plants/machinery and bldg assets under manning contract to the Deptt. Any loss/damage /deficiency shall be made good or regularised by the contractor.

Disconnecting and dismantling of GOD capacity of 11 KV for complete repair & overhauling and checking the serviceability of spares and operating mechanism and replacement of defective / worn out spare parts for making the GOD functional incl reassembling of operating mechanism, oiling & greasing of moving parts, fine setting of mechanism, making the GOD perfect operational in manual mode complete all as specified and directed. Note- (a) Spare parts required for GOD shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of Sch 'A', (b) Fixing element of same shall be deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor of this item (c) The new parts shall be suitable to match with the existing make of GOD spares.

S&F of cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable (E) for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminium conductor cable of size 120 to 185 sq mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of tree branches upto 2 mtr away from the over head line including removing outside the MOD land complete all as directed.

S&F 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated stranded aluminium conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape & overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating handger not more than 1 mtr apart incl 4 mm GI wire, one twin core cable flat or circular of size 10 sqmm complete all as specified as dircted.

M&L for cutting and removing unwanted grass and wild growth incl bushes and shrubs at various electrical installation incl levelling /pruning the entire cleaned area to even finish complete all as specified and directed
