PETTY REPAIR WORKS PERTAINING TO INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AND ALLIED WORKS AT AFS HAKIMPET UNDER GE (AF) HAKIMPET

Notes:- 1. The contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender to know the working condition of the station. 2. All requisite safely measures are to be adopted by contractor on site. 3. The contractor shall provide and deploy sufficient electrician (as approved by GE / Engineer in charge) shall report at 9:00 hrs to JE E/M / Engineer in Charge to collect the complaints job card in working days and complete the same completed within 24 Hrs. 4. The complaints shall be rectified within 24 Hrs if the complaints is/are not attended / not completed within 24 Hrs (Except repair/replacement of major items) recovery will be done at Rs 500 per complaint per day. 5. For major parts like replacement of MCB, DBs, MCCBs etc should be rectified within 3 working days, if the contractor not rectify within time then recovery will be done at Rs 1000 per complaint per day. 6. After completion of job work complaint, the contractor has to produce job card duly signed by user & JE / Engineer in Charge. 7. If contractor failed to provide their electrician to attend the complains then recovery will be done at Rs 1000 per day. 8. The contractor should procure minimum 50% of the materials for all items as per BOQ (Other than paints) mentioned in this CA, within 20 days after getting sample approval and kept in safe custody so that no delay in work due to non-availability of materials will be faced. Contractor should ensure during the cause of work that he has minimum 25% of materials with him till the completion of work. If contractor fail to complete the work within contract due to lack of fittings a penalty of 20% shall be applicable on quoted rates by the contractor. 9. In repair works, rate quoted for demolition /dismantling /taking down is deemed to be inclusive of removing the same from site and station. 10. In maintenance works, the contractor should maintain separate registers for repair works. Day to day complaints should be noted in those registers with SI nos of complaints, location qty of work, status of complaints and signature of in charge and stamp of the office. Formal will be given from concern AGE office. The contractor should obtain the signature of in charge on the same day of work. These register to be submitted to JE (E/M) on every weekend without fail. 11. The contracts involving working at elevated locations of buildings, contractor should ensure proper safety arrangements as per norms. Wearing safety belts and helmets are mandatory. A penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be recovered from contractor if safety norms are not followed. 12. The plumbing complaints resulting wastage of water should be rectified within 12 working hours and if contractor fail to fulfill this, a recovery of 10% of rate quoted for relevant item will be charged from contractor in this regard. 13. After completion of work, no stores/debris/ loose items be kept at work site or dumped inside station . Entire area to be cleared and waste material be taken outside from the station .

Taking down copper/ aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixtures and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, lamp holders, light fittings etc removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors etc. including paint touch up to match with the existing surface as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down existing unserviceable MCCB (any type and capacity) and making good the disturbed surface of walls including paint touchup to match with the existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Taking down existing unserviceable distribution board with MCBs, switch fuse unit, enclosure and making good the disturbed surface of walls including paint touchup to match with the existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Taking down Existing old unserviceable submain wiring of any description /type size and removal of UNSV material from site and making good the disturbed surface of walls / ceiling so as to match with the existing finishes all as specified and as directed by the Engineer -in- charge .

M&L for point wiring with 1.5 sq.mm FRLSH insulated multistranded copper conductor ,1100 volts grade single core PVC insulated and unsheathed cable drawn through new MMS PVC conduit/casing capping of suitable size but not less than 20 mm dia on surface of stone/concrete wall /roof etc all as per site requirement including FRLSH,PVC insulated and unsheathed cable with copper conductor cable of size 1.50 sqmm as earth conductor as per proper colour coding and pressed steel terminal boxes made out of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet with sink into the wall for mounting including laminated sheet cover 3mm thick laminated hylam sheet fixed with cadmium plated screws/PVC gang box fully enclosed type for mounting switches,sockets,fan regulator, etc including all accessories and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls and paint touch up to match with the existing surfaces as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Inspection elbows, inspection Tees, self locking saddle clips shall be used as accessories for laying conduits as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item here-in-before but with 4 Sqmm for 3 pin 16 Amps socket point controlled by one switch on independent board and 4 Sqmm copper conductor green in colour as earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for point wiring with 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) multi stranded copper conductor, single core, FR-LSH PVC insulated & unsheathed cable with proper colour coding, 1100 volts grade drawn in ISI marked MMS non-metallic PVC conduit of size not less than 20mm dia conforming to IS 9537:latest, concealed type terminated in sunken type GI sheet metal flush boxes of 16 Gauge including all accessories and using 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) stranded copper conductor single core conductor, FR-LSH PVC insulated & unsheathed cable as in earth wire connected to common earth dolly complete all as specified and directed for following:- NOTE :- (i) Quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of cutting chases in walls / pillars /column etc. of any description for concealing the boxes and wired conduits to required depth & making good the disturbed surface in CM 1:4 including finishing the surface to match with the existing surface. If the building is stone masonry, diamond tools must be used to cut the surfaces. (ii) Fittings like switches, sockets, regulators, lamp holders, light fittings shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'. (iii) The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive for provision and installation of conduits, covering sunken boards/terminal boxes / junction boxes of any shape and size modular white colour cover plate with frame and modular metal flush box. All metal boxes and plates to be of the same make as the switches mentioned in this schedule.
